2024-11-04 | Drew Little | Just overall a wonderful app for new or experienced golfers and a must need if you have an android watch like the Pixel Watch or Samsung Watch. Also one of the best ways to track your shots without a subscription. Just please implement animations to make the app feel and look more appealing.
2024-10-14 | Robert Gaba | Once upon a time, this would've been a 5 star review. Pin Location in GPS Mode is almost always incorrect which is 100% understandable. However, I assumed being able to change pin Location hole to hole wasn't built into the app. However, is Strokes Gained mode you can alter the pin. Completely unacceptable that the pin can't be moved in GPS Mode. Tracking shots using the app is slow enough as it is, Strokes Gained mode makes it even slower while people are behind you waiting for you to hit.
2024-10-08 | Greg Cordle | You have to turn the "new" strokes gained feature off to get back to normal mode! That new feature is impossible to use, so it's not a bright idea. In Stableford match, you have to click hole out button, save whatever it shows, THEN go back to scorecard to actually finish the hole and record fwh, gir, etc, and then real score. Worst idea I've seen in this app outside of the SAME goals that randomly popup even AFTER you compete them.
2024-09-23 | James Poulsen | This is my favorite golf app. Works well to track shots from the phone. My major gripes are with the app is with the Wear OS app: it does not stay open on my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro or my new Galaxy Watch Ultra. The app constantly goes to the background, so I cannot glance at the distances and it takes a extra 10 or 15 seconds to find my current location. Other golf apps stay open on my watches (Arccos, Grint, 19holes), so I believe this is an app issue. That also ruins my tracked shots on the watch.
2024-09-15 | Gary Hernandez / Motion Picture Editor | Love this app. Very smart and intuitive. Easy to use on the course, Im able to add my score, whether I hit the fairway or not And how I missed, greens regulation. How many putts, how many chips, Green side bunkers all by the time I get to the next tee box.. Tally's your handicap as you go. You can learn what you need to work on. Great intuitive scorecard. And You can track your shots with a GPS view, which is fun to look at when you're done...
2024-09-15 | Arthur Ghere | There needs to be an edit tee box location button. You'll hit play from the blue or gold tees and the GPS lines up from the blacks. And sometimes they'll be wildly inaccurate. I once had the GPS tell me the tee box was in the street behind me. The distance to the hole from where you are is fine but the total length of the course ends up being wrong because the GPS doesn't know where the tee box is supposed to be.
2024-09-09 | Jared Lamb | Great app. I use the free version because I only use the basic information. I would gladly pay a single flat app fee $10-$20 for the free version because of how good it is. Something I'd like is being able to drop a tracking spot in the distance, so I can see three distances instead of just two. Edit: This app DOES have a shot by shot view but you and your friends have to track every shot (Duh!). It may take an moment and require a little humility, cause lord know I don't hit straight.
2024-08-27 | Paul Childress | Really like this app, it's easy to input my scores for a round and track shots manually depending how much you want to input. The course GPS feature is really handy as not many public courses have tracking on the carts. I could get a range finder, but I find the app accurate enough to gauge my shot distances. Highly recommend this app to input your rounds and track your distances.
2024-07-13 | Gavin Papworth | Love almost everything about the app. Helpful, accurate and convenient. Only drawback I have is that the range finder pulls from my phone as opposed to my watch. My phone stays in my bag when I play so it makes it fairly inconvenient when playing with others if they drop me at my ball and move on to theirs. Also creates an issue when trying to use the shot tracking features if you get close to the greens. That said, the same issue applies to other apps I've tried
2024-07-12 | Marcus Sims | I love this app on the phone. GPS is on point and the club recommendations have been money. I need to play around a bit more with the premium features, but overall I was impressed enough to drop Arccos for this. My only real gripe with the app is the watch functionality. When I used an Apple Watch I had no issues getting distances. Now that I've switched over to Android and use the Galaxy Watch 6, I only get the total distance for the hole, never from where I'm standing, which is useless. |
