Also, the screen on which you enter 4 other card numbers kept buzzing that I was wrong and deducted 1 minute each time even though I confirmed the card numbers I was entering were actually correct. That was frustrating. I'm hoping the next 2 games in the set operate better. |
| 2023-05-20 |  | | We hit a wall when we had to use the scanner, escape from Hoth. We were using a Samsung tab 6 lite and the scanner would not rotate as I turned (didn't know it was supposed to turn at this point). About 10 mins later we tried the app on a pixel phone and suddenly discovered the scanner should rotate. Maybe a warning or something should be included to let people know some of the features might not work on certain devices. Love the games though. Just the app definitely messed with our play. |
| 2023-04-08 |  | | nice companion app the shouting in the microphone should said to use the mic and the hoth binoculars is extremely fiddly as well as sone really obscure answers to puzzles bad clues and very vague things in the cards to solve the puzzle but overall i had a really fun time with the escape room dont know why people are saying its trash bc it crashes all the time i experienced no lag at all also yes this is a companion app to an escape room that you have to buy irl it is not built in to the app |

Very frustrating to have bought such a cool game and the companion app doesn't even work... Thankfully someone in the group has an iPhone and it worked just fine without any hiccups.
