Not very user friendly. There's so much other bank apps allow you to do. But on this app, you're extremely limited on what you can or can't do, what you can or can't edit or change. For instance, it says you can change your primary contact information in your profile. But when you go to your profile, there's nothing that indicates anything can be edited. Now Zelle hasn't worked because of maintenance that has been ongoing for at least three days???

Update: The app has worked flawlessly since my last review. Very convenient app for most banking needs. The app itself is perfect, and extremely convenient. The problem is more than half my deposits get flagged as an abnormal activity outside of my usual banking or something like that. I end up having to go down to the bank to straighten it out. What a pain!!! This never happens if I just go to my bank and deposit in person. SSB please look into this.

Okay I have fixed my issue myself. Before someone says that I am an idiot on the log in screen it sticks and doesn't let you go any further. Well I the message I finally saw the x to close it but it is near impossible to see as the x is the exact color of the background so the x is visible. Very frustrating for sure!. Change the color of the x makes it so anybody Tried everything from removing the app entirely to clearing the cache. Now I have no access to my money. Thanks¡!!!!!!

Like.. Not love the bank App needs work. It's plain and uninviting. The settings for the notifications are too hard, long, and difficult to set. All that back and forth from one setting to another. Then there are no push notifications. Everything goes to text or email. Those are not classified as push notes. (They are emails/texts) All we want to know is deposit, withdrawal, debt. All the other stuff can be classed as general, emergency, or some other. Work on that ^_^

Nearly never accurate sadly Edit: 3 months later. App asked for another rating. It's literally still never accurate. Balances shift constantly, and what's even more bizarre (even tracking spending on paper), when you go by the banks,they too are only seeing the same numbers and transactions. I don't get it. None the less, I must also be thankful for the app at its least.

This app allows you to do a whole lot with your accounts and is fully up to date on today's technology! Although you can not turn your card on and off and also the balance does not update correctly. We very weekend I spend check and on Sunday night it says one amount and Monday morning I check it again and several occasions it had listed a different amount? The banks app is not posting the correct balance. I use the app instead of a checkbook & rely on this everyday! Please fix....

I have used the app for a while and never had any issues. But now I am, for so strange reason my linked accout is no longer linked and I have tried many times to relink my account with the app and every time it says there is a connetion issue and it is try to fix it in the background. Id let the app sit so that it can but it would take forever to do so and then the app would kick me off say that my session has expired.

I have used this app since it came out and have suggested this feature quite a few times. Does not allow me to turn on/off my debit cards. UPDATE, ONE YEAR LATER, and still no ability to do this. Very disappointing considering the number of people that try to help themselves to other peoples money. This does not seem to be a very high priority to the fine folks at SouthState.

I still haven't ran into any serious problems, the app is very easy to understand. Some of the features are: depositing checks from phone, viewing balance from login page, checking statements from the app, sending money to others (if I understood that correctly) I still haven't tried it though, and much more... I have had minor issues like not being able to get into my account but I don't think it's the app I think it's the area with no service. All in all I like this app it's good.

Updated review after 10 months of use: This app is still trash and constantly under maintenance. Account activity does not stay up to date like the old one. This rarely shows the correct balance and the transactions don't fall on the days that they were made. The old app perfectly tracked your spending and account balance. This one does not do that. That is the main purpose of the app. Fix your app because I'm about to switch banks over it
