2023-12-17 | Brendan | I'm experiencing unreliable recording of sessions using the pixel 7 pro. I'll hit record, it shows it recording, and often end up with a fraction of a session or nothing gets saved at all. This has been happening consistently for the last several weeks.
2023-06-19 | JChris Metzger | At this point this app is malfunctioning and useless. I can connect my Muse 2 properly using the Muse app but this Mind Monitor app has only worked 2 out of 15 times. I see no on/off connection indicator. I have found no customer support where I can address this problem. When this app did connect (twice) it was excellent. Don't know how that happened...!?! Uninstalled/reinstalled 3xs frustrated. The head band works fine. My phone is a Pixel 7 pro. My head band is a Muse 2 less than a month old.
2022-11-03 | Houston Observer | I've been messing around with the Muse brainwave headband for years. Seeing what Mind Monitor can do with visualizing the output of various brainwaves, specifically being able to separate out specific waves to visualize... and then to differentiate the waves coming from the front of the brain versus the back of the brain, it adds a new dimension of being able to isolate one particular brainwave pattern and do biofeedback on that wavelength alone... Fascinating.
2021-12-19 | Shiner Haze | Works great with my Muse 2. Incredible to see real-time feedback. Also, nice visuals and interface. Functional, fun, and intuitive. Well worth the money. Like the battery display, love the multitude of ways to view my mind!
2021-11-14 | Reyhaneh Bakhtiari | We are using muse S headband, and Mind monitor app to collect driver's brain data in naturalistic environment. Mind monitor is a great app to extract all the raw data. Besides, the website and forum are very helpful, and James is very quick and to the point for resolving any issues or answering questions.
2021-10-12 | Jeno Krouzil | This is an incredible app that has been developed with care and precision. It works great with Muse 2 and is loaded with features and ways to customize the experience. Definitely worth it if you are looking for an advanced but still user-friendly biofeedback/EEG system.
2021-02-08 | Brandon (korong) | Wish it had a couple of things but overall 5 Like another reviewer mentioned would be great if he could add a sound you could associate with a specified wave, or when it gets to a certain level the sound is triggered. Also I use a screen recording app to monitor my session, wish you could do that within the app. But having said that it's an awesome tool and really thankful to the developer for doing it. I would definitely pay extra for a few bells and whistles... In app purchase?
2021-01-19 | B Frank | I have only just purchased Mind Monitor but immediately can see that it is much more accurate than the Muse app in determining whether all sensors are connecting properly. I also love that I can get a graph of my brain waves. Finally, I am really impressed by the helpfulness of James, the developer. He has responded to a number of my queries promptly and without talking down to me which is so rare these days. I have given the app 4 stars until I have more time to play with it.
2020-08-11 | Mark Jessup | I enjoy the current settings, but am hoping for a future version that will notify the user with a tone when certain highs, lows, or combinations are achieved. Since the only way to monitor is to watch. Watching blocks certain waves from happening, giving no way to have any kind of feedback unless someone else watches the display while you practice your meditation. Added: Biofeedback basics are getting relevant information during practice so you can adjust accordingly... after the fact doesn't help.
2020-06-01 | WX S | Same experience as Pablo. I've uninstalled Muse and kept Mind Monitor running and record in the fore ground. But the horse shoes sensors did not seem to pick up brain waves, though it is still paired with my muse2. Accelerometer etc works fine and the signals jump when I twitch my eye brows etc. Just seems that it somehow doesnt pick up Alpha to Thetha signals after sometime. Remaining flat at 50.0dB. Would give it a 5 if it works all the time. Please help us check this out? Using samsung. Thx! |
