2024-11-21 | Daniel Chomin-Virden | Really disappointed the app has started to list album parties and other events just playing albums as "concerts" by the artist. Seems like these events shouldn't be allowed on the system but there's no clear way to report misleading events and no obvious way to provide feedback on the app on a web forum or in the app.
2024-06-28 | Scott Martin | This app has transformed my concert going experience. It syncs seemlessly with your spotify favorites. It makes finding shows to my favorite artists easy. You can see when an artist is on and off tour and get notices when they announce they're coming to locations od your chosing. I have locations set up in Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio and Oklahoma City.
2024-06-06 | Eric B | Can no longer track..Only scans Spotify but I have YT music. I wish it would scan that. Good things: Has really changed the way I listen to music and see the artists I love but I dislike the way it looks for concerts. I would like to see if my artists are playing anywhere within a X mile radius. If I Want to follow my favorite bands, I don't care what city they are in specifically, as much as I care that they are within 2-3 hours drive. It would be better if alerts were issued by venue distance.
2024-03-12 | Emilie Dempsey | Good concept and no ads. Some room for improvement: Search doesn't always work. Can't filter by specific dates in cities. Wish you could track venues. When in the Artists tab, if you click on someone to see their shows, and then try to go back, it takes you to the top of the Artists tab again and it takes awhile to scroll back to where you were. When adding event to calendar, does not add event time. Deceased artists could be marked as such.
2023-04-05 | Elena Meadowcroft | Good idea for an app but totally unusable for what I need. I don't have any concert venues near me, so I look up nearby cities. First, there is no way to filter concerts in a particular city for a specific date. Second, after I spend time scrolling to a specific date I need at a location I need, as soon as I click on an event or open another app to look up the artist, it all goes back to the current date. It doesn't remember where you were in the list. Super frustrating.
2023-03-25 | Dorothy Butala - HV | Mediocre at best. Only gives notification for concerts near the location you pick, instead of notification that the artist is going to tour, so that a person can see what locations may work best for them, even if the options aren't close to the chosen location on the app. Desktop allows to do extended location search notifications but doesn't tell you how far the extended location search is. I'll travel anywhere to see the artists I want, this app is very limited and limiting.
2023-03-17 | Kristin C | I appreciate the service this app offers but the app is so frustrating to use. The search function only searches for artists and often doesn't work, you can't search specific dates for a location, and the UI is annoying. I've been using this app for a years now and the experience has been consistent, I haven't seen any noticable updates for it. I avoid using it unless I get a notification for someone I actually want to see play.
2022-11-10 | Kevin McDonough | I've had this app for a long time, but I constantly get notifications for artists I don't listen to and aren't even on my Spotify. It has me tracking hundreds of people so it's not that simple to just go through and untrack everyone I don't want notifications for. I wish it was only artists in my Spotify library. I tried to email and ask for a fix to this but it doesn't work through the app. It's easier to sign up for updates from the venues than to rely on songkick with the app the way it is.
2022-04-13 | William D. Luffy | The concept of this app is great, but some basic features barely work. The search is buggy at best. It randomly returns no results sometimes and you have to retype your search several times for it to work. Something with the search as you type logic is broken. Also searching with symbols seems to be broken, cannot find the artist "again&again" in the search, and the search results are limited to 9 results so you can't even scroll through all the possible artists to compensate.
2022-01-23 | Taylor O'Dell | I didn't know I needed this app until I found out it existed. Great concept, pretty good UI. My only complaint is that when I'm in the Artists tab, if I tap on an artist to see their upcoming shows, when I hit the back arrow it goes to the top of the list instead of where I was. With a big library, it gets pretty tedious having to scroll down over and over. |
