Most courses designed well, BUT "Javascript Intermediate" course is a complete dumpster-fire mess. Sololearn divided oldest courses (including HTML, CSS, and Javascript) into separate Intro and Intermediate courses. There is no Intermediate HTML or CSS yet, But Intermediate Javascript is TERRIBLE. Too many concepts at once in each slide. Concepts poorly explained. Code examples often broken. Questions often before topics covered or not all. Course needs complete redesign, based on ES6 standard

Toxic customer service. $70 gone that I didn't have room to spend this month. They WILL take your money, so be 100% sure you cancel at least a week in advance of your auto-bill incase something goes wrong. Their 'refund' policy provides a contact email to request a refund. I sent a message as the page outlined, and was simply told no. Complete absence of rationale and reasoning to explain the decision.

It really feels like it just skips around, so you suddenly have a question that feels like you haven't heard of it before. So there are comments saying "the answer is, I'm not sure why it's not explained." And full of "how are we supposed to know" or "here's a better explanation". Maybe some of the other courses are better. But judging by the reliance if AI to "tell you why you're wrong" I can't imagine so. Bonus fun it immediately did give me an ad with math that equaled to 0% discount.

Not a very free friendly app, pushing u constantly with ads and limited amount of wrong answers(hearts). Hearts take forever to come back and just constantly wants you to upgrade to pro. AI use is pretty unnecessary and extremely limited for free accounts. P.S. can't even run the code they give as examples to see what the new code does...

I love how the app is set up. Im learning very quickly and have a great time doing so, but its started having issues, some text characters are extremely limited to the point that i cant type the full answer and it also keeps wanting to crash and display an error page and i am completely stuck where i am at due to this issue

Would be 5 stars as this is a great way to learn coding (I used it to learn c++), but there are so many issues with stuff like Code Challenge and the Earn XP tab not working whatsoever. Plus the heart system is pretty similar to Duolingo, but worse as you don't have the option to get hearts for free from doing a challenge, and it takes forever for them to regenerate. Other then those issues it is a pretty good app.

Update: Again, the app isn't working, continue button is greyed out on the first screen and I can't open any of the courses. The app also keeps crashing. I closed the app and relaunched it, and it's still not working. Also, please let us set our timezones. I use the app every day and lose my streak if I can't get to it until 10, but sometimes 9. Many bugs and glitches with this app. Recent updates are making the app less and less user friendly, too.

What seems like a great, free learning tool is quick to show the greed hiding underneath. Lessons are often less proofread as you get further, and often have bugs or errors that force you to lose a 'heart', making you wait *five hours* for it to refill. Demonstrational 'playgrounds' often can't be seen without a subscription, and each lesson, as of a recent update, now forces a 15-30 second unskippable ad. A few weeks ago, it was an okay learning tool - now, it's just barely usable to learn.

This app is amazing! You might as well get the pro version since the AI really helps with understanding the code and you get unlimited lives. Also, with out the practice modules in pro, you wouldn't get to really apply what you learned. Trust me, the pro version is worth it and I can't wait to learn multiple coding languages. I built my own tip calculator and my own mortgage calculator in my first month, so keep your head up and enjoy the learning!

Great at teaching you the basics and keeping you motivated (like Duolingo for coding) Not 5 star because you can outgrow the app. after some ~20h you will have to start finding other resources to keep on learning. There are some poorly constructed questions when dealing with harder topics, the code interpreter will some times crash. Also, did not get notified when the 14d trial would end, be careful Great app to start learning a new language! It has the fundamentals nailed down!
