Free word ap that has ads, that are MUTED!! So I can relax and play and not have blaring ad music, but my own uninterrupted blarring music. Also this game helps my spelling. They have a pay option to remove ads which is great 👍. Idk which gives devs more kotos. Thanks for option either way.

At first thought it was great. Won once out of 20+ games. Followed all rules but STILL kept loosing. It would show I lost because the opposition had done the final word (game saying 7 words played)? So of course they will win if they had last go? Also I would loose and the game would say "9 words been played" yet only 8 were visible to see played? Where was the 9th?! It was infuriating. Tried to ask opponent at end and message disappeared. Ended up deleting app. Shame!

Uninstalled: the full screen adverts are such a pain. I'm sure the fact that they obscure everything meaning that you can't make an emergency call *without* visiting the Play store first isn't allowed. Surely that's dangerous. The game is ancient, over a decade old, so I was amazed to see that it costs £9.49 to get rid of the adverts (September 2023). These guys should be wearing a masks and a striped sweaters. 🙄

Great game concept + very few ads. The main issue I have is that the AI's aren't really programmed to try and end the game, so it's actually quite difficult to lose unless you try to.

I had Letterpress on my iPhone and enjoyed it immensely. I now have a Samsung phone and when I have installed the game -- a number of times -- I got a welcome screen that is locked--I can't get onto the game. I am frustrated--HELP!!!

An addicting, but deeply flawed game. Rather than helping you visualize the result of the word you're crafting, the game removes the letter from the board prior to your submission. It makes it very difficult to predict the result of your submission. I'd very much prefer if it shaded it upon selection as you're crafting your play rather than removing it from the play area. The advertisements are annoying. The dictionary needs some serious revision. The minimalism is a wasted opportunity.

Great game, very addictive. Can be difficult to begin with but have found that playing lots of games with chattybot got me getting better at the strategy even if I had to lose a lot to begin with! Greeniebot is fun to play with but not challenging enough to learn with so go with chattybot to get better. Only slight niggle is that players often abandon games if they're losing, though I understand if you leave it where it is they forfeit to you if they abandon the game on they're go.

Very fun game. Dictionary is good, mechanics are smooth and it's fun to play with friends. I would like to see a custom dictionary, possibly a game mode with certain tiles worth more points than others. And a "nudge" option when your partner hasn't played in a day or more.

Haven't had this much fun in a long time! Best word game on playstore so far, especially if you're tired of the same old popular stuff. Its so minimalist and adorable. Simple and elegant rule structure, great dictionary base, and an option to request addition of words. Despite what some reviews say, the rule against plurals makes sense, otherwise it would get boring and tedious. Hope you continue! The evil bot definitely is evil :D PS: maybe a blue orange theme would be nice? 😜

Good game, but constant technical issues. Oppressive, laggy ads, constant crashing, failures to notify, etc. I've had all these problems and more on the different phones from three different manufacturers over 5+ years. The developers do not care about their product.
