The subscription used to be worth it at $5 a month but the new subscription price is ridiculous. We used to be able to start a duet as a free user. Now we can't even do that. We can only join. This used to be my favorite karaoke app. It's too bad. |

| 2024-11-10 |  | | I would rate this app a 5-Star. However, there is just minor problems, or things that are just missing, that could make me change this rating to a 5-Star. One of the things that I feel like they should add, is a mite button, when singing in a song. Or maybe even Smule Live. The reason why I say this is because, some, if not most people doesn't have headphones, or maybe they do, and it's just not as good, as to wear we can't hear their background noise. This will help a lot for Auditions. |

I bought the vip thinking I can use this as easily as YouTube, where I can choose a song, connect it to my karaoke mic, cast it on the TV so more people can follow along, and then enjoy life.. Sadly when I cast the app to my tv, it is only on portrait mode. So it's like a small portion in the middle of my big tv.. I can't make it go landscape so it's bigger and fills up the screen.. Just disappointed on this. There is no tv app to install so I'm stuck on a small phone.. |
| 2024-09-19 |  | | Hey, so I really love this app. It's very nice for singing and singing with others as well. However, I do have some suggestions that might be fun to add. I would like to request the possibility of being able to do more than one vocal filter/effect when singing a song. I think that if there was a way at the end of the song to add multiple different effects to the voice, say you want certain effects in a part of the song or something like that it would be a really awesome addition. |

The app had a huge update that has everything looking way too busy and what's worse is now messaging is broken. I send a message on the Android app, but can't see my friend's responses unless I use my iPad. I read notifications on Android and they show as unread on my iPad. It was not like this before. My subscription didn't carry cross platform but atleast everything else did. Until now. |

I love duetting with my friends, but i usually prefer to sing the whole song myself. I would be fine having to watch ads or even just having a limit to how many solos i can do each day, but yeah. Thats really my only issue, but otherwise, i really like this app! |

I've never liked the subscription model, but $5 a month was doable if necessary for the tools it offered. The price change is beyond ridiculous. At $20 a month this is more of a worthless app than it ever was. Have fun fading into further obscurity Smule. |
| 2024-07-28 |  | | SMULE!!! What in the world have you done?!?! The app is so bad now. Take the advice I gave you a while back. GO BACK to 2019. Around August, and put all of the applications back to that. That was when this app was PERFECT!!! Only live recordings were bad. But we can tolerate that if you bring it back! Trash EVERY update you made AFTER August 2019. A lot of great singers left. And more will continue to leave if you don't bring this app back to when it was great! |
