Battery is terrible. I've had the Link for three weeks. Week 1 the battery lasted the whole week. Week 2 the battery lasted almost a week. Week 3 the battery lasted three days. Today, the battery is down to 85% after charging it last night. That's a 15% decrease in 12 hours. The light, sound, and vibrate features work if you're in close proximity. I'll get alerts the dog is away if I leave the house because my phone is far away, even though the dog is safe at home. Software & hardware need work.
I'm going with 50/50 here, and I'm still hoping that once we pay for the service (free trial right now), these things will be better. Love being able to track my dog and all the features available. Things I hate are the notifications every 5 mins telling me my dog is away, when she is not. I hate that it takes around 5 min for the tracking to actually track when I need it to. By the time I find out where she went she had already moved on. Again hoping the paid subscription fixes this headache
I think this is a great product but doesn't always connect to my dog. It's frustrating when I just walked her 2 miles and the app says she's only been active for 1 minute today. I'm hoping that this improves with updates. There are portions of the app which are not formatted for mobile. The type is overlapped. I feel like I bought this product too early in its development.
