Been with them many years & very happy..but this year..not so much. I receive a $173.37 charge in my account. I tried talking to customer service about the Black Friday Deal and partial refund & i have been happy up to this point but now when i use them i just get upset. Never received an annual subscription renewal email & am very upset with the outcome and will NOT be renewing next year. It is obvious to me they care more about short term gains more than customer loyalty. :(

The offline viewing of downloaded classes is an absolute joke. You have to be online to view watch downloaded classes. I've tried it on iOS and Android and it's the same issue on both. I've contacted support but they didn't care. If you have a long flight or plan to use the offline mode without an Internet connection, don't count on it. It does not work.

It's crazy that when I attempted to cancel the 1st time the site is setup so the 1st button to hit is to keep the subscription which I assume is to take advantage of people like what happened to me. It's bs and I will never sign up for this company again, which I probably would have in the future. I would have kept the membership but because of some bad circumstances I just didn't have the money and now I'm super screwed and they won't refund. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'd give 0 if I could.

As a novice photographer and videographer, Skillshare has been monumental in my growth. The platform allows me to take courses at my own pace and choose teachers who match my learning style, making the experience highly personalized. Despite having barely scratched the surface, I've already gained so much. Additionally, Skillshare offers the opportunity to create your own courses and classes, perfect for those interested in teaching others or sharing their skills. It's a fantastic resource .

I got a free month trial after it first started but did not pay for anything afterwards because of the lack of classes they offered for learning watercolor. I tried learning by watching youtube, but I never made it very far due to the lack of detailed explanations most artists offered (mostly just showing what they painted) Several years later I decided to try again to learn to paint. I went ahead and bought a year's subscription when it went on sale for only $60. They now offer TONS of classes.

The quality of content is of a high standard, but the app is really bad. Whenever you open the app, the front page keeps loading and shows an error message. Clicking on staff picks also keeps loading. The profile settings and management are very confusing. I think it's better to work on the web than the mobile app for courses.

So far I've had an interesting time with this app, learning but yeah most of this stuff, you can find on YouTube. I mean it be awesome if the certificate was real to use in life. But in the end it's best to just attend a university or so... Might be okay for tutoring though... Dunno, but I used up my free month. Maybe I'll be back, maybe not... But if you got the money to spend a $100 for yearly plan, then this app is for you.

Absolutely love this app. Some of the classes are a little daunting just due to their length, but everything is broken up into smaller segments within each course. This makes each class easy to manage, and new things can be tackled without feeling overwhelmed. There are also multiple classes to choose from for a plethora of topics, ranging from beginner to advanced. If you're unhappy with a particular instructors teaching style, you can always find another for the same topic. I 100% recommend 👌

I love the classes! Maneuvering around the site is not intuitive for me. Specifically, when I click on my app icon it often goes to the first class I took and starts the lesson again. I'm not sure how to edit my profile. I didn't realize my full name would be posted with my projects. (No biggie; just want the option. ) I have trouble posting more than 1 photo for a class. These are my difficulties. Other than that, it's great.

The courses are good. But I think it would be beneficial to add that notification media control features. That way we don't have to open the app to fast forward or pause. Also, it would be good if you made it compatible with Android Wear. It's easy to look at the watch and just click pause. Other than that, the courses are good, but you're missing out on a pretty awesome opportunity here.
