I, like many others, am here from the Zombies, Run! world (which you don't have to run btw). I listened to the podcast but thought it would be fun to do it the way it was intended. What's cool is that they corrected the negatives to create the awesome ZR we love. If this could be incorporated into the ZR app, that would be great. I do like seeing what's collected immediately and being able to relisten to clips during the mission. Just wish you didn't need 2 hr/day or eyes on screen all the time.

For Zombie Run! Enthusiasts looking for that ZR experience, you'll likely be disappointed. The core is the same, but there's no gaming aspect beyond just the episodes. Of which, you will need to play multiple times to collect everything. My biggest gripe for the game, is that items aren't auto picked up like for ZR. Meaning you have to stare at your phone throughout the whole episode to make sure you get all the items. A shame, as it takes you away from experiencing the beauty of the outdoors

Cool idea, well-acted story, but the actual app doesn't work well enough to support the content. I finally had to uninstall the app after it stopped recognizing that I was even moving, preventing me from making any more progress. I even tried reinstalling once, but the app does not save any progress at all when reinstalling, so everything was reset. I enjoyed what I was able to play, but I'll be looking for a different walking app.

TLDR: it's great, but needs more options. This was unusable for me. I want to walk for 20 to 30 minutes, but the stories take 50 to 60. I can stop half way through and finish later. Except between walks it will restart on its own and I get a "you finished your walk" notification. I can't set it to restart half way through. So why 4 stars if I hate it? Because my use case is the problem. The stories and acting are great. Add a walk length option or let me drag the position for a 5.

Absolutely loved this walking app. The story and the voice acting are great. Would love to give this 5 stars, but there needs to be a way to skip to a later spot in the audio. Especially later in the episodes, there are starts for audio recordings too close to the previous recording. The previous recording doesn't finish before the next one starts. You can replay the previous recording, but you have to listen from the very beginning. There needs to be a way to skip forward in the recording

Changing my review from 5 to 2 stars. I really tried to like this app and it started out great. Voice actors and plot were great. I was constantly missing items because I didn't check the app in time. There were many days that the app did not record my steps, and that made me very frustrated. Uninstalling today, but I hope they fix the app soon.

Unplayable. I bought the game with the legacy version, and I don't have access even after installing the legacy app. Very frustrating. I've replayed the beginning of this game about four times now after encountering blocking bugs, over multiple years (I started playing sometime before 2016, so this is not an exaggeration). I'd really like to find out how the game ends someday. UPDATE: Support was able to help me, after some back-and-forth. Added a star.

I like the overall experience. The missions and story line is fun and interesting. It keeps me engaged. My issues are that I have a hard time getting it to load the missions. It tells me regularly that it is "unable to load content" and there is no easy troubleshooting help I can find either. The other issue is figuring out how to pause a mission for the day and come back the next day. It makes me start over. I really like the running apps, but this one seems to be suffering in the same quality

Have this going same time as using Zombies, Run! so I get both in at same time. Has issues when I go to start new episode, saying I didn't finish last episode, when I did. Walks are consistently 60+min and you can't change how long they are. Sometimes if you have another app open and this one running in background, when you open Walk again, most collectibles for that episode are gone, and have to redo entire episode to get again. Also, have to manually click audio clips for them to play.

Wasted potential. After technical issues and frustration, I loved the first half dozen or so episodes. Unfortunately, the app had an identity crisis (after locking in my subscription, of course) after those first few episodes - the walk lengths shot up until they were ridiculously long, even for an athletic 30-something. Then technical issues returned for unknown reasons; I've had to reinstall 3 times now, losing all my progress each time. Badly coded bait-and-switch.
