| 2024-11-28 |  | | The last several updates have been terrible. I have been highlighting the Bible in different translations and using specific colors for specific purposes (nature of God, nature of man, consequence of sin, Jesus, Christian life, etc.) but they've reduced and changed the highlight colors and options and now the access so much as to make it unpleasant to use. The app also randomizes colors rather than keeping them in the order of most recently used. I want the original palette and functionality. |
| 2024-11-27 |  | | Several versions of the Bible, devotionals,study material and access to Biblical resources all in one place. This is an excellent app for beginners and well-studied students of the Bible alike. I enjoy being able to find study material for almost any subject and having the Scriptures at my fingertips for study and discussions. |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | EDIT: This app worked GREAT about 3-4 years ago. PLEASE REVERT TO THE OLDER VERSION. Orig: The Bible is GREAT. This APP isn't. I'd give more stars, but it's been 3 years now and the Verse of The Day widget is still inoperative - after a few days of working correctly, it fails to update and you must delete the widget and reinstall it on your home screen. It's been doing this for several years. I would think after a few years this would have been fixed, but it is not. Oh well! |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | I used to rate this app very highly, but the big update from 2023 is such a frustrating downgrade that I've decided to switch apps. The new design is not very thoughtful for the user at all. When I try to change books, the whole screen changes/shifts; it takes forever to figure out where to click next. I much prefer the old version. Also, the highlights are so hard to distinguish from each other it's actually pretty annoying. I just want a Bible app that's easy to use for reading scripture! |
| 2024-11-23 |  | | Never had issues with the app until now. Something is off with verse of the day streak and bookmark, says one thing and does another. I have logged off, uninstalled, reinstalled same thing. I use this app daily and would like to continue. Thank you for your time and I look forward to having these issues resolved . |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | This is the worst app ever. I have had nothing but trouble with it over the last year. Glitch after glitch.... Takes forever to load. Does not enter your friends into the plan and is difficult to find their answers in talk it over. Very frustrated. Reached out to the help desk with no responses to correct the problem. 😔 |
| 2024-11-20 |  | | Recently, it has been very off. My plans are always off a day, and my plans check auto check mark. Sometimes, it is not checking off the chapters I have on audio. My streaks are sometimes resetting. I have had to reach out to help service a lot. Besides these, it's still a good app. Update: unsubscribe and then re-download to see if it made a difference, it has not. Streaks are better, but plans are still a day off. If I use the "catch me up" option, it sets it another day behind. |
| 2024-11-19 |  | | There were some glitches with this app, but after I addressed them everything is running smoothly. I'm really benefiting from the spirituality, passion, and commitment and learning about Christianity at a pace I can deal with. It seems to be helping my mental health by providing me with scripture and context for my experiences that I can relate to. |
| 2024-11-18 |  | | This app used to be AMAZING but beginning earlier this year it's as if the dev team threw a perfectly good app into a blender and now very few things work, including reading plans and participant comments that worked perfectly in the past. please bring back the old version (pre-2024) so that we no longer have so many unnecessary barriers to spending time in God's word each day. (3 stars b/c i still use it, albeit reluctantly sometimes) |
| 2024-11-17 |  | | 11/17/24 - once again the updated version has screwed up the "catch me up" feature! The new version SUCKS! especially the plan part. The "catch me up" feature doesn't work correctly. The advance to the next chapter button looks too much (and is too close) to the play audio button. |
