2024-11-24 | Kevin Hullihen | Doesn't work in landscape yet.
2024-08-01 | Amber Willis | As a beginner, I liked the help with pacing and getting an idea of ways to warm up and exercise on the rower. I would think this app could be enhanced by including some instructional videos on form and also some options to row on a virtual river.
2024-07-22 | Yolanda Littlejohn | I've only been using the app a few days and I like it so far. I work up a good sweat. I do wish it told you where the tension on your machine should be. I know all machines are different but a guide would be beneficial. I love that the sol helps you keep a rhythm. Without the app if start it to hard and couldn't finish.
2024-01-04 | Maegan Johnson | Great idea, but not worth subscribing to yet. I gotta appreciate a solo developer, so here's my two main pieces of feedback: - There's no settings or place to adjust the experience. At the very least I was looking for a way to choose what audio played during a workout - sometimes there was a metronome tick between rows, but it wasn't consistent. - The beginner plan talks about helping use proper technique, but there's no info. They don't even explain "recover" vs "catch" in the display.
2022-07-13 | Stephen Aryan | This is couch to 5k for rowing. The free version gives you a plan, rowing and rest periods, gradually building over time. If, like me, you need a schedule rather than just 'row for 20 mins' which is boring and not sustainable, then this is the right app for you. The paid version has more bells and whistles too but the free works fine.
2022-03-29 | Heisen berg | Very limited functionality unless you pay to subscribe to their monthly program. I installed it and wanted a program to row to 4-5 days a week for at least 30 minutes each time. There are literally no options unless I pay to subscribe. The only thing that's free is 10 min beginner workouts and that's it. Don't waste your time if you are even remotely active.
2022-03-04 | Paul S | Good technique-building from this app. I like the pace-setting metronome feature, and varied workout programs. A few minor bugs, like incorrect pace settings in the one-month burn... Makes for some extra burn!
2022-02-27 | Justin Duncan | Been using the app for a while and it works great with the pacing! One workout plan I'm confused about is the One Month Burn: it says low, medium and high intensity for the different blocks of the daily work out, but the spm are the same. Like on day 3, it says low intensity 26 spm for 3 min, then rest, then medium intensity 26 spm for 3 min and so on. Is this a glitch? The intensities felt about the same. Maybe an better explanation for the workout is needed? Overall though, great app. 👍
2022-01-03 | sergio | The app is very basic not worth while. I canceled it on the 7 day of free trial but they charge me anyway! I contacted the developer and it took Nick a month to reply, saying that now it was too late to do anything. They could see I only used the app once but choose to keep my money and say they could do nothing. Really laughable response! Do not even bother to do the trial period!
2021-11-23 | Mark Tetreault | I love this program so far. It beats the hell out of the LCD display on my rowing machine. You can select the program you want to tackle and the app lets you select the duration, fitness level, number of days, etc. It has a nice visual display as you are rowing and a metronome to get the SPM just right. All in all a nice rowing machine app. It seems a little pricey to move up to premium but I will probably do it. |
