2021-09-07 | Rashi | I thought the app was useless at first because I couldn't get the app to recognize my bulb. The trick to making the app work is that the location permission for the app and location (gps) switch must be on on your phone at all times while connected to the bulb via Bluetooth. Afterwards tap on the bulb image to get to messing around with the colors and so on. The sound and bass is alright but don't expect any loudness from it either. It's sketchy to enable gps just to play music. Remove it please
2021-09-06 | Skye Tolar | Hey they finally fixed the unusable volume button for me! And replaced it with a bug that locks out the app the moment I try and adjust the newly available volume level, lmao. You can't make this up. (Also, all you have to do to solve the original issue is turn the navigation bar off and use gestures just long enough to get into the app to change it. Which is obviously unacceptable, but to all the dunces ((dunci?)) saying it's iMpOsSiBlE to adjust the volume aren't using their thinkers))
2021-08-16 | Sean S | They still haven't fixed the volume issue on Android phones!! This would be so simple! Issue: when The navigation bar on Android is set to "buttons" (default), the volume control in the Segled app is UNDER the navigation bar, meaning you can't control the volume in the app unless you go into phone settings and change the navigation bar to "Swipe Gestures." Come on Sengled, just move the volume control up 1 centimeter for Pete's sake!! 8/15/21- Thank you for FINALLY fixing this!!
2021-05-22 | Nate P | The scanner to add a new bulb to the system does not work, It also doesn't automatically lower the back and home button on Android (pixel 3xl), So I can't even hit the button to scan AD code or scan QR code without like hitting it 40 times and maybe getting lucky. Then when I do get lucky the scanner is black and it doesn't actually show any video to scan the QR code, when I get to the AD entry it doesn't actually accept the AD code... So the six bulbs that I've got are worthless.
2021-05-04 | YURASS EZMINE | This would have been a 5 star review until recently. After the last Android update, the volume function for the Pulse app no longer works, leaving the speakers permanently stuck at lower volume. Have been waiting for months and the developer has yet to fix the issue. Recently sent them an email, fingers crossed. Will update the review if they fix this very glaring problem.
2021-05-02 | Amanda Guerrero | I've had this app for over a year and half now, but all of a sudden the top of the app is a black screen, like it doesn't open all the way. I can no longer control the volume of my speakers because the control settings are by the bottom of my screen which directs me back to the home screen on my phone.
2021-02-27 | gee fran | SAMSUNG S9+ sounds great if the volumes are in sync, music apps vary. Connection to wi-fi leaves a lot to be desired. My bulb is located at the first floor front porch socket. Inside the house, I have no control of the Sengled app 5 ft inside. However, parked in my driveway parallel to the front porch and at least 30 ft away, I can control music and lights thru the app. When I contacted Sengled, I was told there are connection issues thru walls. Also, no Alexa or light timer.☹ Samsung Galaxy S9+
2021-01-08 | C K | Why aren't people talking about the fact that you CAN'T connect THE MASTER to the SATELLITE???????? Very annoying to see Great product do very very very bad. Has anyone had luck at all connecting master to satellite?? Master is easily connected but not the satellite does NOT want to connect. It searches for it and it connects only during the linking process BUT it unlinks then says failed to LINK. Anyone want to help???
2020-10-26 | Aaron Hernandez | You have to connect every time you want to use the bulbs... Every-single-time. There isn't an automatic reconnection feature. I understand that for music (hardly at that, my Bose speaker reconnects automatically just by turning it on), but if you are trying to keep your lights controlled as well, it is a pain
2020-10-20 | daniel schuette | This this is pretty unreliable. It connects then disconnects. Then connects then disconnects. The app often needs to be restarted due to it crashing. It's similar with the level of poor consistent performance I am getting out of their hub controlled light system which I am more and more regretting putting so much money into. I am becoming more and more underwhelmed and disenchanted with this brand. |
