Whoever did this used it to Hack my phone alter my OS set parental ontrols giving the hacker full control of my phone . | 2024-11-05 |  | | Only wanted to upgrade from 12 to A15, used Smartswitch....got BOGGED down cuz 1) could not connect wirelessly, though the new phone accessed my wireless network, 2) was presented with multilevel advertising before anything could be found and started. Just do the damn switch. Just saw "this phone isnt compatible with this app." So, Samsung, what happened to the older reliable blutooth data transfer? And why would you even make a transfer app that cant go from lower/older models to the newer? |
| 2024-09-27 |  | | Just bought a new Samsung s24+, because I thought it would be easier to transfer everything to another Samsung. HUGE MISTAKE! This app can't transfer anything. I downloaded Move to IOS app, planned on an iPhone. It takes 7.27MB of storage. Already had this app installed. It said it needs another 360MB of additional storage to update to the newer version!!! Phone is full of useless Samsung apps, I can't delete. Hackers love them! I just want to get all of my photos out of my old phone đđ |
| 2024-09-27 |  | | Tried numerous times both wired and wireless. On the wireless option the app on both phones says it can't connect, but in settings it says connected on both phones. My old Note S10 offers to send or receive data but the very same downloaded app only gives "send" as option on new S24 ultra. No way to actually move data to the new phone. Frustrated would be an understatement. |
| 2024-09-18 |  | | Dear Samsung I have had an utlra 24 for 6 months, I "LOVED" it until I get a sudden "One UI" added to my phone through some update. This program sucks. People at my work cannot access my photos that are seriously need access. I have had to go in and disconnect and remove permissions from this app which I NEVER ALLOWED ACCESS IN THE FIRST PLACE. If I could remove it, I would. It has screwed my phone up 100%. Apparently, I need to switch to the iPhone which I hate. Fix it |
| 2024-08-23 |  | | I really wish there was a pause function. I spent my morning trying to do a corded transfer and it was in the last few minutes when the battery in one phone ran out. (I don't have a cordless charger.) I wish it just saved as it went, and then since you don't transfer duplicates, if someone has to stop for any reason, they can just end it, retaining what's been transferred so far, and start a new sync to transfer any remaining stuff they couldn't before. |

Yes, but what about all of that data that smart switch stores. I believe it's the whole shebang, right. I have been hacked several times, and they usually use Yahoo mail to get it, according to my Google account activity. The issue is that the app is for transferring data. Unless I am planning to transfer data between devices it has no use. I have been deleting updates for months, each and every day I have to delete the updates. | 2024-06-20 |  | | 3.7.56.12 version seemed to fix my data back up problem with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. Smart switch operates in the background and there is no way to manually trigger a watch data back up. It hadn't been working since April 2024.(My last back up until 6/20/24) Smart Switch has always had 100% permissions and nothing has changed besides this June 14th update, that I didn't get until the 19th. That evening (last night) it backed up. So....thank you. đđ |
| 2024-06-03 |  | | Never got the apps to transfer, or contacts from the device. Transferring data via the USB-C cable, the new phone completely drained the battery of the old phone before all the data was transferred. It killed the other phone battery with all the data I needed to transfer. Now the old phone won't even charge. UPDATE: The previous phone did eventually charge, but just be careful to not use the USB-C to USB-C cable overnight as the default setting will drain the battery. |
