2024-11-20 | Son Pham | [Update: what's up with all the negative reviews about popups and phone acting strange? Those are sure signs that your phone is infected by Spyware and viruses people. This app has nothing to do with those issues.] It is speedy with so many advanced features. I love the Night mode which is amazing at turning all websites dark when browsing at night. Amazing work on Night mode Samsung. It runs fast and smooth with ads blocker built-in. The only browser I use on mobile devices. Cheers.
2024-11-19 | William T. | Pointless, like 50% of all pre-loaded apps on Samsung phones. (Not sure why this, Facebook, YouTube, and literally dozens of other pre-installed apps can't be deleted.) This is easily the WORST browser available and we're forced to keep it. Let me at least remove it from the Play Store update list instead of having to avoid it all the time. All these garbage pre-loaded apps are why people don't use auto-update!
2024-11-17 | Andrew Vaux | This is weird but I have never had issues with pop up ad's like everyone is complaining. There is a way to stop that on both Samsung and Chrome if you just opt out of your advertising ID. Also make sure that in your settings to turn on Block 3rd party cookies. I also turn off my notices. I never get ad's but I do think that my device is being routed through a false proxy and never on the internet directly. This has been going on for years and I sure would love to know how to get rid of hackers.
2024-11-17 | Erin Marie | Samsung Internet Browser CONTINUALLY crashes. It's happened so many times that my phone (has apparently become more frustrated than I am and) recommended that I put the app into deep sleep due to the number of times it has crashed (i.e., to basically just stop using it). This used to be my go-to internet app but I'm just going to switch to Chrome. This is crazy.
2024-11-16 | D B G | The first thing I saw in the "What's new" portion was the fact that you removed a feature. That's typically not a good sign. We don't like features to be removed, especially ones that have to do with the UI. You removed the status and scroll bar tweaks. Why? I think I'll stick to my current version. Thanks but no thanks. PS This app can be removed, even on unrooted devices. Try the app Shizuku with the addons "aShell" and "Canta." There are simple instructions available on GitHub.
2024-11-14 | Jacqueline Walters | Well, every since I turned off the nearby places option, my ability to sign in became difficult at best. We redid the passwords for accounts, but still nothing. I became aware of duplicates apps on the phone. It now has 2 systems. One is Google Apps. others are Samsung apps downloaded in a secure folder by SWISH APPS. This is strange and where all my trouble began is here. This morning my mobile internet was turn off 🤔 HOW????
2024-11-13 | Jace Webb | Give us back the option to disable this app!!!!! I can't click "update all" anymore and now have to manually update all my other apps one at a time bc this garbage somehow re-enabled itself and now the "disable app" button for it in my phone's settings suddenly no longer works??? which means that it's now constantly showing up in the list whenever I go to update the apps I actually use and want on my phone bc it's also not deletable. (Firefox has better ad block btw for anyone ditching Chrome🤙)
2024-11-08 | Daniel Creen | Forces open, can't be shut down. Doesn't allow user to blick malicious sites. Bsd news. Not very secure. Full of bugs. Samsung doesn't allow the app to be disabled. Very bad; this may be my last Samsung. the problem happened suddenly. I think it was after I searched for anti-virus apps; even though I have Chrome as my default browser, searches still go through the samsung internet app, and that is how and where the app became infected.
2024-11-06 | Jen Kamerman Jenkins | I have used Samsung devices only since November 2010. (A little green phone called the "Reclaim," through Sprint.) I stay loyal-now a T-Mobile customer, leasing an S23+. I have no issue with the handset itself. My complaint is the endless addition of bloatware that I can't uninstall-all I can do is deny every permission. I wouldn't use this browser now even if GIVEN the choice. Stickers, unwanted Ai features-the list goes on. I'm not a teen; I'm an IT savvy adult. I should be able to choose.
2024-11-06 | Vickie Butzinschwindel | I hate this app it always goes over what I'm doing and shutdown my phone, and I can not get rid of the app. I have tried uninstall the app but it keeps coming back. It's a BAD VIRUS. It keep popping up adds up over what you are doing. So you have to cancel them out or it will gust cause a rotating 4 dotes like it trying to restart something. I have had Verizon delete the app but it just keep coming back. Like a nightmare in my phone. 😡 |
