2024-10-20 | Ryan T | The OG food ordering app. Used to be the best of the best. Sadly the service has deteriorated, marred by frequent confusion with the restaurant, as well as cancelled and delayed orders. Giving credits doesn't make up for not getting food, especially when there are so many alternatives with consistent service. I hope they step it back up!
2022-12-25 | G | Too many fees for terrible service, after the delivery fee, handling fee, processing fee, tax, secondary delivery fee for the state im in, and a tip, it was almost double the cost. Not to mention they ran the driver on a double despite the restaurant I ordered from being just a minute away from me..so my food sat in someones car for over 20 mins getting cold while they were right across the street from me. And people wonder why no one tips anymore.
2022-07-17 | Knight Of Lethe | This app has had its ups and downs, but lately someone had the bright idea to completely eliminate customer service. Now if you order a meal and the restaurant messes up and sends you someone else's order you no longer get a full refund. You only get a partial. That's right you sit there with no meal, waiting 3-5 business days for a refund that only covers half your order. Might as well throw money out your window. The new system is fully automated so if your option isn't there. Too bad. đź‘Ž đź‘Ž
2022-03-19 | Peter L | EDIT: Dropping this review to 3 stars because of one reason - the app infuriatingly screwing up scrolling to drop in an advertisement banner. Fix this nonsense! I love seamless and great to have the ability to order right from your phone. There have been minor issues in the past with my card and address but all were resolved. It's great to be able to order dinner on the walk home from work or order breakfast from bed before you're ready to get up.
2021-11-17 | Jonathan Reeve | There are some genuinely annoying bugs with this app. One is that, once you add a single menu item, you can't add another unless you quit out of the app and start it again—it tells you that "none of the menu items are currently available for this restaurant." Forcibly quitting the app and restarting it fixes it, but this is annoying, since it basically won't let you place an order with more than one item in it.
2021-10-03 | Justin Flamenbaum | Not great. They'll quote you a delivery time, and once the upper bound is passed, you check the app, and they've just moved the delivery window back 40 minutes. You order is supposed to arrive in 35 minutes, but actually takes 90 minutes with no notification of the change. Seamless is only for people who aren't hungry when they place the order. Previous: Real good. Didn't get my food one night, was refunded no problem as soon as I emailed them the next day. great customer service
2021-08-09 | Adam Hernandez | Ordered a $10 order from dunkin, got charged a delivery fee of $4, service fee of $2 and you still have to tip the guy. Total $20 for a $10 "FAST FOOD" order. Then you try to pay the $10 a month subscription to avoid fees, (which is what they claim) yet you still get charged fees. Order straight from the restaurant next time!
2021-08-06 | Eric Lamendola | Dropping my rating temporarily. I am perplexed why there is no option to save restaurants that I want to try later. I might browse 30 places and find 5 that I like, but there is no way to remind myself to check certain places out later. I can only order from 1 per night and you capture my favorites, let me build my own wishlist based on interests.
2021-04-01 | Eric B | Logs me out after every use of the app. Annoying. Asks for a review after each use even though I've already reviewed it. Its a bad app. Somehow it has a monopoly on food delivery even though its buggy with ridiculous fees. That's the review. Now and always Displays lots of restaurants that are either closed or don't deliver to my location. Let's me get thru the order process only to tell me I can't buy from them at the very end. Perhaps if a place isn't available, don't display it as available
2020-09-19 | Dyanne Neoh | I use this app when working in Port Arthur, TX. I work long 12-hour shifts and prefer to have my food delivered. Seamless and Grubhub both are extremely inconsistent when showing which restaurants are available for delivery, even when most of those same restaurants will pop up when you select pickup. Sometimes, if you refresh enough times, restaurants will pop back up in the delivery options. Otherwise, you're just plain out of luck. Very frustrating to use. |
