2024-10-20 | Thomas Fischer | AVOID this SCAM - the most confusing and cagey subscription management with an auto renewal that is virtually impossible to cancel if you're an android user...and they won't even answer my email about it...(?) Also- their ads paraphrase the app's functionality as this instantaneous ID and response of a care intervention that I should have known was too good to be true. Subscribe at your peril(!)
2024-08-27 | Anna G | App is not free, but instead just gives a trial. The results seem inaccurate as well. I scanned a sprouting tree and it came back with a result not common in my area and with no other trees like it anywhere in the vicinity. It also told me I have. Grapevine in my yard when I definitely do not. Cancelled trial and uninstalled.
2024-08-13 | Daniele Midi | Aaccurate at identifying my Inch plant but the tips are confused/contradictory: tips for watering and fertilizer were in the Light section; it said "likes moist soil" + "water deeply when the top inch is dry" in some place and "don't keep constantly wet" + "water when the soil dries out completely" in another. When trying to diagnose issues (which is what I want this app for!), it said "overwatering or underwatering", which could be either and no suggestions.
2024-08-10 | Debbie Peabody | Accuracy low. Diagnosis broad. No zoom or crop images. Details in writing are poorly written, incomplete, wrong use of words, not logical. No benefit from use. Accepted free 3-day trial, canceled in 15 minutes and uninstalled. I wish I hadn't gotten into this app. The 4.6 star rating make me think it was going to be a good app, but I was fooled by that. It's not Google verified, they keep your photos, and sell your data to third parties. I should've read that before I accepted the trial.
2024-08-01 | Kendall Pulsifer | Canceled subscription after trial, still getting billed weekly, has no option to cancel now other than for apple user when I used android originaly on trial basis. There no clear way to contact or even see charges except on bank statement doest show up on your subscriptions or payments in play store or Google acct. Shows up as some scale up charge weekly on bank. App may have been ok and useful but too expensive ,now thru this process, trying to cancel after trial seems like a shady app
2024-07-24 | Kim Lagrand | Don't even bother with the "free trial" for which they take your cc info and then make it impossible to find a way to cancel after you realize the scam. You send a picture of your plant and in return you get a list of all of the things that may be wrong. The things you already know, over watering, underwatering, not enough sunlight. No solutions though as advertised. Owners of this app, please take note that I will not be paying you 6.99 a month. I've had this app an hr and want to cancel now!
2024-07-21 | MilindaR Kelly | Do NOT Sign Up!! I have tried canceling 4x after the "1 week free trial cancel anytime" and still being charged $6.99 a week. The delete account button doesn't work & if you try to contact them it tells you they are not responsible for any stolen or lost data, if you get a virus etc. It's not a real company. Their terms and licensing is all in Arabic or like there of. Be very careful!!
2024-07-10 | Krista Errickson (blacksheep_nation) | Don't fall for it. I tried out premium, and followed the steps to diagnose my plant issues. It just listed a menu of possible issues: it could be the result of: underwater, over water, too much sunlight, minerals, not enough...what was shown in the YT ad doesn't exist. Blatant false advertising. I unsubscribed from premium 15 minutes later when it failed to deliver its basic promise. If it advertised as an identifier, it deserves 5 ⭐, but little else.
2024-07-06 | Jessica Adkins | Downloaded this app because of the ads that show it will identify whats wrong with your plant & tell you to adjust (more water less water etc) I went to "diagnose". It had me take 3 pictures! I showed clearly that 1 stalk had turned brown but there were new shoots & parts of the plant were still growing. The response it gave was "sorry looks like your plant is dead"
2024-07-02 | Eeyore Prime | I loved the app, but it is designed in a deceptive way to prevent cancellation before the trial period is over. The FAQ section also references only Apple/iTunes and has no Android info. I fully intended to pay the fee, but due to this unethical practice, will gladly go with a different and more expensive option that does not engage in deceptive design. I already had to pay for a month, but will issue a dispute and potential charge back with my bank. |
