2024-12-03 | Aaron Leung | Great and useful idea with good implementation. It has great potentials. However 2 reasons make this not my main remote shutter app. 1st: the camera functions of this app are very limited compared to the camera app of my phone (Oppo Find X7 Ultra); 2nd: the photos taken with this app completely lack of EXIF data.
2024-10-16 | Zac Manasseh | Very useful for remote inspection photography. One slight problem when photographing with the main rear camera, the picture is reversed. Would be nice if this were corrected.
2024-08-04 | Kevin Almas | Great concept, but has a little ways to go to be polished. Works great for taking stills. Not as good for video. So far I have not been able to get 16/9 ratio to work with my S20+. Hopefully a fix is in the works. I'm going on vacation at the end of 2024 and will put this to use then.
2024-03-25 | M. | it's great. But I have 2 questions: one is related to a bug. Once I connect my S9 plus to the Z2 Fold with camera used from the S9, and I switch to video, the picture freeze on the Fold 2. Second is a question as to why the 2 screens are mirrored? If i look to the S9 and mlve the Fold 2, the right becomes left and the other way around. I see no option to change this?
2023-12-17 | Clyde Dale | Video feature seems broken. Works until you select video then the video on the "remote" phone hangs. Still records, but can not see what you are recording. Same issue both ways on pixel 6 pro and 6a. Edit: seems that this issue is related to the pixel and not to the program itself, and the developer is unable to work around that. So no fault of their own, but is a limitation if you have a pixel.
2023-11-05 | Joyce K | It works for a few minutes and then quits. Often hangs when switching from photo to video, or from one device's camera to the other. Not a fan. I am using a Pixel Tablet with android version 13, and a Samsung A53 5G, also android version 13.
2023-10-23 | Amy Hoffman | Pros: Makes family photos much easier than using standard timer. Cons: 1) I paid for premium but watermark not removed from old photos. 2) Often a noticeable delay (seconds) from hitting button to take picture and picture being taken. 3) No native camera app filters like portrait Tip: Put a t v show on a computer right next to the tripod to get kids to cooperate and stare at the camera
2023-08-31 | Adrian Stubergh Stensrud | Great utility! Had issues connecting at first, as the other device kept disappearing from the list on both phones. Creator suggested I try the connection via WiFi Direct in the Android WiFi settings to see if that worked, and it did. Re-installed the app on the phones, and then it worked. Maybe it was that I had never used WiFi Direct first and my phones just had to do it once for it to work with the app, who knows. Great support though, which ultimately led to the app working!
2023-08-01 | Allan Joseph | Very Step Price for the feature it offers. First of all, Concept is superb. I am using a pixel btw. Most of the phones the access to auxiliary cameras are not available such as WIDE ,TELEPHOTO. Unlike using your camera app I prefer using GCAM which is built it for taking pictures using rear camera. Please check whether the native camera can be controlled through SC app so that I can take better images with the native back camera without losing aux camera support.
2023-06-30 | Yahav Boneh | Absolutely loving it! SayCheese offers a great intuitive interface that simplifies setup and usage. The app's remote functionality provides full control, resulting in effortless capturing of great shots. A must have for every photo enthusiast. |
