2023-01-20 | Shane Owens | This app is garbage! It downloaded fine and connected to my soundbar without issues. However, all it will do from there is show me a screen with suggestions to "tap here for remote" or "tap here to change source" and "rotate the wheel to find and select music". All of this sounds amazing except for no matter where I tap nothing changes, EVER! It's just the scree with tap here written everywhere. So basically it's completely pointless if the screen NEVER changes.
2023-01-12 | John Jones | After getting past the tutorial somehow, I had trouble adjusting the subwoofer. But after trial and error, found that clicking subwoofer and using the skip button would adjust this. Since I couldn't find help anywhere, I wanted to post this to make it easier for anyone trying to figure out the woofer control. Now it works just as well as the original control
2023-01-10 | Jeff Johnson | It displays behind the navigation bar on the S22 Ultra making it nearly impossible to bypass the splash screen. If you are lucky enough to get past it by pressing the right area, you can access the remote. Now another issue. With the HW-K450 the woofer button resets to 0 and never changes. I lost my remote and wanted to use this app. Well my woofer is nearly soundless now. Thanks Samsung. I guess I'll need to buy a physical remote.
2022-11-04 | Kate | It crashes immediately upon launching which is a major problem considering this is the only way to control the subwoofer and other equalizer settings. It would be really nice if there can be an update to fix this. The app was working perfectly fine last night. I've uninstalled/reinstalled it, cleared cache, restarted phone. It will work once and then after that it keeps crashing
2021-12-06 | Richard White | Freezes on demo screen when first opened on Samsung Galaxy 9. This is a known issue. How much does a company have to suck to know this and not fix it. There is a workaround, but at this point who cares. I stupidly wasted my time doing the work around and found the app clunky and totally useless. I really wanted it to have a more easy way of controlling the sound bar settings, especially the rear speakers. But alas, it's totally useless for that.
2021-04-12 | Antionette Kuhnert | This app worked great and now I can together past the main screen of how to use the app. What did you guys do to it. Someone said there's a red bar at the bottom to skip. Yeah... can't tap it. It's barely visible. Sound bar didn't come with a remote. Wasn't in the box but wasn't a big deal... I had the app. Hope this might get fixed some day ??
2021-02-26 | Dana Norwood | UPDATE: I've narrowed the crashing problem down to this. Prior to the last update we had the ability to turn our sound bar on as soon as we started the app. Now as soon as the app start it will crash. However, if I physically turn on the sound bar first, then start the app, the app will connect to sound bar and operate as usual. App did actually work for awhile, now it crash on startup. I uninstalled it then reinstalled still crashing.
2021-01-31 | Stephanie Snyder | There's a bug at the tutorial where the red bar that allows you to skip is hidden below my actual phone screen. I was just able to get past it when I googled how to use the app (lol). Click the right hand lower screen, should get past it that way. The only other issue is it defaults to the "no playing" instead of the remote setting after closing the app. Other than that, I can do what I need, now that I'm past the tutorial.
2020-11-28 | Ryan Richeson | Used to be able to actually use it as a remote, now you can't even get past the screen where it explains how to use it. It says tap in the top left corner to use the remote, and yet it does nothing. The only thing you can do is control volume or exit the app completely. Used to be able to change the sound settings, adjust the sub, everything the remote did and now its just garbage. Great job guys 🙄
2020-11-16 | Kat | Not a great app, but it's the only one that sometimes works with our soundbar. We lost the remote so this is the only way we can control it without getting up to press the physical buttons every time. It crashes as soon as you open it a lot of the time and it becomes unusable and it will randomly change the input of the soundbar while you're watching something. I desperately wish they would fix this app and improve it |
