When I took the boots to the Salomon dealer, the tech with an iPhone was able to connect immediately with no problem. |

The boots will still heat to the default temperature if I press the button for 3 seconds and the light turns blue. So the heating element isn't completely useless, but the app does not add any control as long as the Bluetooth won't connect. |
