2024-12-01 | Justin Bremer | AVG is the go to suite of protection, cleaning, and safety solutions for all my devices. Getting the premium subscription is definitely worth it when looking to protect multiple devices of various types. We currently use it on all 3 of the types of OS in our home Windows PC, Android, and iPhone. Easy to use and install, setup for regular auto checks is ready to go and keep everything all tuned up!
2024-11-19 | Evan Rowlands | Never had an issue with the software protection of my phone or pc. I do get annoyed when it keeps asking me to purchase products that I already have paid for. VPN doesn't always start on startup of my pc... I think it is a Windows 11 problem though.
2024-10-19 | Basil Cyrus | Junk it is constantly closing on its own. If the free version is doing this constantly the paid version must be trash. I got the free version to test it out to see if it helps. So far it doesn't help at all. I keep getting sent to bad sites it doesn't stay active at all . Every 5 minutes I have to re-enable it. I'm deleting pos and going to mcfee
2024-08-05 | Raymond Brogan PHD | Can you handle the truth? By far, the best PC, Laptop, and mobile protection under one account there is. I've tried them all from McAfee(r), Norton(r), Kaspersky(r) and more! AVG protection and AVG Ultimate keeps your systems, your browsing, and devices free of any issues and viruses. I trust AVG with my digital health and well being, I can work harder on what is important without working harder on being safe in today's digital world! Thank you, from us all at The Raymond Brogan Corporation
2024-08-05 | Gus Lassen | It wants me to turn on Scam Protection. Well, shoot, I thought I had done that already. So let's do it! It takes me to the page to set my default browser to AVG. But my default browser is already set to AVG because, you see, I ALREADY HAD turned on Scam protection. So I go back to the Scam Protection page...and Scam Protection is off. And there is no way I can find to turn it on. One of many ongoing issues. This app needs a full time babysitter.
2024-07-21 | Mark Berasley | Update: more recently ap seems to randomly just close as I look at the tray at the top and it is no longer there so I am now getting periods without protection until I notice it has closed. Also frustrating is when unlocking the phone if avg hasn't closed it brings up the scan screen on its own. Original: Took Function Away - have free version. After last update software doesn't do scheduled check in morning. Taking functionality away is not a good strategy to demonstrate customer service.
2024-06-26 | Wendy Johnson | I subscribe to AVG Pro. The app keeps telling me that it needs to update, but if I update, it installs the free version alongside my paid version and doesn't recognize my subscription. I will never renew this subscription. If the app can't even know when another version of itself is installed, I have no confidence it can recognize a virus.
2024-06-03 | JIMMY MACK | I'am not happy to have and use ANY AVG apps because they stole $137 from my credit card account a couple months ago. My original 1 year subscription was expiring and before I caught up and told them I DID NOT plan on renewing it. Before I could delete my saved credit card info they helped their selves to $137! I only paid less than $ 40 for my first years of sampling their app ! I tried AVG in 1999 and deleted it and NEVER planned to use ANY of their apps again but for a week free trial I did!
2024-05-28 | JJMM313 (DetroitWolverine313) | AVG products so far have been amazing I've been a payin customer for over a year. I have the trifecta of AvG products Plus AVG protection and a beta tester for AVG tracker which I for the second time patiently waited until they gave the permission to test again. That is the only thing that I was disappointed as a paying customer that when I switched phones and logged back in to my account that I no longer had the ability to use app tracker which is eye opening...
2024-05-04 | Rick Curran | Out of all the free virus protection apps that I have tried over the years, AVG is by far the best! It's easy to use and does exactly what it says that it's supposed to do! The only thing that I wish that they would not have changed was the automatic scan. It used to be included in the free version, but they changed it some time back, so now you only get it with the paid version. |
