2024-12-05 | Ryan Lee | Alot of game mechanics were changed and you can no longer use engineers to steal enemy buildings and rigs. Maps are way less detailed and engaging than it's predecessors. Not worth the price. Wldve loved to be able to play the GBWG if it was fixed again.
2024-11-10 | simon bodle | The best one out the lot. My only problem with it is Where is the fog of war!?!?!? Not a battle simulator as not realistic enough for me to give 5 stars. Too many reasons to wright down but a good little game still.
2024-10-15 | Boopathi R | The game doesn't retain campaign progress, when we reinstall the game. The game deserves 5 star otherwise. They removed multiplayer option as well.
2024-09-04 | Keegan Lafferty | fun game, though it could use some QoL features like giving units a "general order" that basically tell them to autonomously attack or defend a certain area, building, or unit, units given a general order will mount and take control of whatever transports they require to reach the target, because it gets real monotonous having to move units from one side of a huge map to another, being able to set specific parameters for the map generator would be nice too: water volume, land bridges, etc.
2023-03-30 | Steve Johnson | I've been playing strategy games with a rock/paper/scissors battle system since Desert Commander on NES. This game starts off fun and I appreciate that the levels get progressively more difficult. But the later levels aren't so much difficult as bloated. It just becomes a matter of lagging load times because both sides are tanking.
2023-02-26 | Stephen Loving | The Epic Little War Games are a ton of fun. It's a war strategy game where combat takes place on hexagon tiles and you have to build your bases and take over enemy bases. It's kind of like an RTS in a lot of ways just not real time. Playing with your friends in two player mode is a blast too. It's couch co-op style too so it brings back the good Ole days of playing with your friends right next to you.
2022-11-28 | George Gajda | I love this game. I want to give it 5 stars, but it crashes from time to time mid turn which is very frustrating. *** Update: it still crashes. My phone has logged 47 instances of the app crashing. I'm going to lower the rating from 3 down to 1
2022-02-07 | Devin Bremmeyr | Game runs fine, game mechanics seem alright. The controls / visual interface of the game are terrible though. In a strategy game you want to clearly get information about all of your units quickly, and this game provides that very poorly.
2021-11-05 | Joel H | Great game when playing against AI but online play sucks: once your turn is over, you stop seeing the map until it is your turn again. This makes it much less engaging, because while you wait for the opponent to do a move, you can not strategize and plan your next move. You also see all of your opponents moves in one go instead of seeing them as they do them one by one. I don't understand why developers made it this way, it doesnt seem like it would have been harder to let you look at the map.
2021-07-22 | Toni Fairbairn | ELWG started with high hopes but is now unsupported by the developer. If you divide the game into two sections, you play the AI in the skirmishes and campaigns - it's very good and you are able to customise skirmishes. Many long term players use this feature. Online, there are very few players and some at the start level are using hacked or cheat copies, this cannot be reported. Communication is 'Live Chat', but it is not administered, it is off topic and abusive, not suitable for children. |
