I have acquired quite a few things off of Freebie Alerts. There's a lot of people who don't want to just throw something on the curb and let it go to the landfill. And a lot of those people have updated an item to something that suits them more. When those things come together there is freebie to connect people in a professional manner

The free items are not well organized into categories with a search engine so you can find what specific type of free item you're looking for. You basically have to keep scrolling for what you want eventually having to come across some very old posts which can sometimes take HOURS of scrolling downward to get to. I would like it if they categorized the items posted and arrange them from oldest to newest. A search engine would help as well that way you can find what you want faster.

great and not at all like sketchy Craigslist. especially if you know where your going and who lives there kinda ysnno? it's also your surrounding areas and I find this a lot safer that craigs list and it's all FREE. if it isn't and latest it isn't, it shouldn't be in the app! but I like this app a lot, especially if your moving or just simply can't afford things. things are usually new or in good condition as well!! and no this is not a paid review... I wish. lol. But that's a while bother app😆

I love this app because people are so kind and generous and you can get some really amazing stuff. Got a perfectly fine 70 inch smart TV about 6 months ago. I wish they could do better at getting rid of the people who were actually trying to sell stuff instead of give it away but they don't let you type anything when you report it. Is hit the report button and that's it and they could change that.

absolutely love it!! Alerts me within mere seconds of the listing going up, ALWAYS directs me to the proper listing (other than loading just Marketplace itself and having you search for things.) this allows me to message the person instantly and be one of the, if not the very, first people to message the person! it's great! I kinda wanna hide it so competition isn't so great 😅😅

This app used to be my favorite until today. Now, every time I pick an item, it looks like an ad. There is a big x in the upper right corner and it says remove ad underneath it. When I click remove ad, a pop-up ad for freebie alerts $9.99 subscription pops up. When I click on the x in the upper right corner of their own ad, it goes back to the regular screen with free stuff. But it doesn't matter what item I pick, freebie is treating it like an ad where I have to x out or remove. Tried setting

it kinda feels like getting a winning scratch off.. I was able to snag a beautiful wooden dresser with mirror for FREE. I was overcome with many emotions that I actually cried! I just couldn't believe it because its so beautiful and well made.. i felt like i had won big money when i was driving home with my new set LOL! I'm just a single mom tryna make it with a teenager and a preteen and this app has been so helpful and giving. I love it.

Best app! It's My favorite!!! It makes it so easy to sift through all the free stuff by combining all your favorites (IE marketplace, next door, etc. ) in one app. Not to mention you can do a whitelist and get notified of specific things you're looking for, and you can also set the search area anywhere from 0 to 50 miles away. And the best part is it's free!!!! I have found some of the best things on there and I recommend it to everyone!!!

Works fine when people respond at least but I noticed something kinda funny. Apparently when you block all ads and pop-ups this app does not work well. I realized now with blocking pop-ups and ads the screen is dark but if you scroll all the way down you can still see what app it's on. Would give two stars back if only it listed cities near you instead of having to research zip codes!! Terrible idea!

Honestly, a pretty great app. When someone suggested it to me and I saw it was free, my first thought was, "Oh no, ADS!" But not really. I've never been bothered by ads here. Yes, there may be ads, but they don't get in the way. I really love it. I use it every single day and I have gotten quite a few things using this app. I keep the notifications on silent and check every so often. A gift from the gods! Thanks Dev team!
