As a former Tier user I wanted this week already for the second time to register an account after the switch. For the first time the Account Info screen with my phone number was spinning for ever. For the second try I didn't get the text message for validation (yes my phone number was correct and had signal etc.) and then stuck at the spinning account info screen again when retrying. So I would love to try and give better score...

First time using a scooter. All went well until I tried to end the ride. I park in an official parking spot, but the app would not accept. Tried using the contact message for help, and this did not work either. Tried using the scooter parking map, and again, this would not open. Continued riding to find another parking area and to scooter stopped and told me I was riding out of zone and issued a £00.00 fine to end ride. So, all the messing about trying to end the ride cost me £2.00 extra.

Horrible parking rules. The closest parking zone for my destination was 2 blocks away. Arrived there only to be told that that spot has already reached its limit for parked dott vehicles. The nearest parking zone with capacity was halfway between my destination and starting point! Dott turned my usual 15 min commute (with another provider) into a 35 min commute. Absolutely will not be using them again, not even for free.

In Bristol there is a total lack of convenient park spots near smaller train stations like Bristol parkway and Filton abbey wood. Often have to walk for at least 10mins from park spot. This wasn't a problem with previous conpany Voi. Overall very expensive and passes don't give good value.

Worse UI than Tier and has less region available than competitors. A few months ago one of the destinations I travel to most frequently got taken off the map and never returned. Still available for at least 2 competitors. A shame, Tier scooters have the best quality out of them all. Still, will never be using them again after my free trial for the aforementioned reasons.

Tier vehicles are worn out and damaged, slamming a new sticker on the ride doesn't solve it lol, only reason im using it is the free ride, im subscribed to VOI way better. edit: sorry i sounded rude, but the vehicles are truly in a bad condition in Aachen, here's 2 extra stars for replying and trying to improve, cheers

It replaced Tier App and that's a serious downgrade. a) no option to reserve for 10 mins; b) no option to view the license plate or serial number in advance; c) no option to take another scooter for a mate; d) charged me the unlock fee the first time despite of the pass purchase (OK on the second time though); e) no way to bind multiple payment options. —... I was never a big fan of Tier, but now I see how things can be ruined up further.

Couldn't apply my card to the account on the app in order to pay for any rides. Customer service terrible - they didn't listen to what I was saying and eventually gave up (said they referred it to specialist apartment but heard nothing since). One star, can't even use the service despite their beyond lackluster attempts to resolve the issue and 40 minutes chatting with them

The app and the overall service is pretty poor. Contact Us page doesn't function at all and their live chat AI might be the worst I've ever come across. No in built navigation on a transport app is an insane oversight. Walked past 5 scooters/bikes over a km distance and they were all either reported broken or out of battery. Ended up wasting time just to end up taking the bus Update: Parking spot had 6 vehicles, all broken or out of battery. Got one that let me use it, and it didn't work

Very poor transition from Teir to Dott. Small vehicle problems can be expected on public vehicles open to the elements but while Teir support would reply within minutes I have had to wait days for a non-resolution from Dott. The Dott app always shows a full battery regardless of power remaining. You cannot easily select a vehicle from the app and must scan each qr until you find which ride has enough approx miles to survive your journey. The service has also become more expensive.
