2024-11-27 | Chris “mrchrisbeasley” Beasley | This app is now a total scam. I recently purchased the app however it keeps asking me to purchase it over and over again even after it tells me that my purchase has been restored. It will not give me full access to the app. Keeps asking me to pay for it over and over again. This is a total scam now.
2024-11-20 | Brandy | Do not pay for this app! I got a new Android phone and I cannot transfer my subscription. the button inside the app that says give feedback is disabled, and no other way to contact developer. I paid for Plus back in June, I have proof of my payment and I cannot use it this app at all. I also found the email address for the developer and emailed them asking for assistance, and the address is no longer in use. SCAM. Trying to report them to Google play now.
2024-09-24 | Jannae' Sifontes | I'm sure this app will benefit those who are willing to pay the money for it. However, the free version will only show you the glycemic index for food available through its search. If that's all you need, you should be fine. The low star rating is due to the lack of transparency about the app.
2024-09-15 | Seán Kelly | Looked like a good app until I paid for the upgraded version. It looks like they added food at random and assigned random numbers that don't line if with USDA or UK MoH information. Much of the info looks to have been written by AI. How do I get a refund?
2024-09-15 | Fish Head Soup | It wants to force you to upgrade to paid version instead of making it a option in the background. The database you can get to eventually is weak to say the least. Horrible app.
2024-08-30 | Gerald Gudmundson | Too invasive. Many times a day I get messages selling upgrades I don't want or need, recommending foods I've never heard of, and advertising junk. I just want a simple look up for GI and GL.
2024-08-15 | Logan | I open the app and am immediately hit with a fee request for $13.99 without even getting to use the app. WTAF??? Then I click out and it says error, your payment can't be processed. then I'm hot with a second ask for $9.99! As IF! Let me check out the app before you ask me for money Jfc. What a joke. I immediately uninstalled this. If you're gonna ask me for money upfront, it must not be a very good app and you clearly don't have confidence in it.
2024-08-09 | Elie Farhat | 1 You should add missing food/items; 2 Filling our own food should be automatically calculated to 100g and not the other way around; 3 Glucose level (Normal, Pre or Diabetic) should take into consideration the timing of the reading. For instance 126 gl, one hour after lunch, is not considered diabetic. Classification should read the timing and publish category accordingly. 4 It will be nice to add as recording hours of exercice per sport type and calories burned accordingly. All the Best
2024-06-13 | Maria Shopova | 2nd day using (paid), and I enjoy it. Can add custom if I don't find something. Portions can be more than 100g. I would like to see more information for foods like fibre consumption (in the GL wheel, which should be just a calculation) as this can influence the carb absorption, as well as stats on % consumed from each food group (for a balanced diet). It would be helpful to add food groups as a filter on foods. I get alcohol as top low GI/GL when I'm looking for ingredients to base my meals on.
2024-05-31 | Tara Reilly | Can't believe I bought this, I should've read the reviews. The list of foods is pretty minimal, some foods the values are obviously incorrect (so I wonder if any are correct) and the search function doesn't work well. This app should be completely free and even then I wouldn't recommend it |
