i like this one bc it has hardly any ads and allows you to study with a flashcard feature. i've been using it for a few years now. the only problem i run into is sometimes i'm trying to memorize a kanji, but it refuses to show me the kanji just because the kana (or a different kanji) is more common way to write it. well, if i encounter the kanji in real life i'd like to be able to study it in my flashcards. there is a handful of words like this and i wish they would fix that.
I am not a native-speaker of Japanese, but I've been speaking Japanase for over 30 years. This app is extremely helpful for those instances when I can't remember the stroke order of a particular Kanji or remember an obscure word. I used to use the Japanese English Dictionary (JED), but it's no longer supported by later versions of Android. I first encountered this app when I briefly used an iPad for work. This app is very helpful!
I've been using this app for the past 2 years to study Japanese Kanji alongside my Japanese classes in college and I am very happy with it. I can organize my kanji in lists, which I can put into folders. I do wish I could transfer some lists to other folders, but still 10/10 I had the option to rate my experience with the ads in the app. I has to open the app back up to see where the ads were, because I had never really noticed them before. They only show up in 1 place and are not invasive.
