The game in itself is fun and keeps my attention. My only real issue with the game is that it explains nothing. Some upgrades require gems, which is fine... but which one? The library, which upgrade let's you build the library? I've even googled this to no avail. Over all it's a fun game. But I'm not invested enough to download discord and ask people, the wiki is lacking.

The most painful joy you can experience. Long story short. This game is addictive as could be once you get into it. If you enjoy being able to have a unique experience each time, then this is the game for you. Bit of a learning curve however. So some stuff I think would be useful to understand... You need to have a character(s) focused to achieve goals. Try to build them around the traits and orgin. Cunning is good for long term gains. Strength smash. Initiative speed and parry. 10/10

Cool idea. Can tell a lot of work went into it. Unfortunately, the game really doesn't have any kind of payoff or good feel to make the time sink worth it. You're completely beholden to RNG every step of the way, with your decisions only sometimes mattering, as more RNG can undo or even backfire the decisions you've made. I'm constantly struggling with money and the game flow in general just feels punishing. A for effort but this game fails to deliver any satisfying feeling.

Seriously impressive game. Fun, addicting, deep but easy to start, long and challenging with new game+ and hard/nightmare modes... But most importantly, NO ADS! And the few gem purchases that might be considered necessary are easily unlocked with achievements. I ended up just looking for excuses to give them money!

I've spent a great amount of time on this game. Good progress has been done in balancing and adding more content in recent updates as well as changing how influence is used. I would suggest making it so that you can auto bet the full amount on your fighter because it's annoying to click for every fight over and over again for the max bet for only a 30 gold return. As well maybe an option to skip all the fights altogether in late game (the skipping mechanic right now still gets a little tedious)

It's possibly the best game I've played in a long time, top 3 of all time for sure for me. Beautifully designed and fun combat and weapons system, and training your gladiators to match your vision for them feels like an rpg. Personally, I would like to see the side quests and more being expanded upon, and while fruitful and fun it feels almost incomplete.

Amazing game but maybe add a few more weapons like hammers or flails, a small bug when I try to train young gladiators under 17-18 it doesn't apply the skill points unless it's in health only, online would be amazing!! I can't wait to see that, and another huge quality of life improvement is that I have to click way too many times, between each battle and outside of battle, just make more available on each screen or something and make battles auto progress if you win thats vey annoying to manual

Good game, I binged it for like 6 hours and found it incredibly nice, however, after becoming the top Ludus, and all your gladiators become super powerful, it becomes really repetitive. Of course, I've yet to unlock everything, and still have to try the hard mode, but knowing how the "endgame" is going to be, I don't find much motivation to go back. Aside from all this, the 6 hours I played were very entertaining, would recommend.

Absolutely what I was looking for with a phone game. I really don't have any complaints. It's a table top gladiator sim with a great visual aid. Sweet, simple, to the point yet deceitfully in depth. Having a knowledge of what gladiator classes were strong or weak to others has a big impact on the outcome. I'm on my first run, week 90-100. Only lost a handful of battles. Champion is a unit. Gold cache is loaded. I hope to see a feature in the future for us to battle our friends.

Has two major bugs/poor design which are as soon as you hit the advance button, you cannot go back and have to fight. The other bug is when you buy or upgrade your estate, it doesn't update how it looks when you're playing and you have to quit to title and go back to the game for it to update your estate. Other than those two things it's a super fun game.
