Devoid of functions, awful user experience (can't scroll through transactions as it auto jumps to next day, for one). Really far behind what other banking apps have become.

Constantly showing error messages. Unable to look at my own account more oten than not. The only advice NW ever give is to check things are all in order with my systems, THEY ARE!!! All other banking apps work properly. Useless site.

A shocking experience from start to finish. Accounts can't be reorganised into a different order, payee details are not saved and have to be re-entered each time and payments will fail every 2nd or 3rd time for no reason whatsoever. The worst banking app ever designed and I'm disgusted that I have to pay over £260 to even be able to use Bankline. Sort it out NatWest - not good enough!!!

I installed this app a couple of months ago and it worked fine at first, but then would not let me access my account. After calling the helpline I deleted the app and installed it again, but I am still getting the same error messages

The app is brilliant. We have used the desktop website for ages, but the app makes things so much smoother and efficient. Before, it was such a long winded process to check the accounts, raise payments, approvals, etc. The app makes things so much faster. The ability to notify others to approve a payment is a highlight.

I really hate Bankline & the app. The multiple IDs, PINs & passwords in addition to the card reader make it too cumbersome and time consuming to use. Registered a fingerprint but it won't accept it and when I add a fingerprint to Android, Bankline stops accepting biometrics and I have to re-setup. Or I find the password has expired and I have to use the website to reset it. No other bank I use has such convoluted or problematic security arrangements. Deffo won't move personal account to NWB.

Still unfortunately a really poor experience all round. The app does not update the account details over the weekend, though it does for the account balance. The date filter does not show most recent transactions. Bizarrely the facility to pay a cheque in is under the 'Pay' heading along with other payment out options. Attempting to view a recently paid in cheque drpos me out of the app with the message that the session has ended ....

The app would be good for second authorisations and raising payments from an existing template. I have currently the problem that as soon as I go into the Payee box the app shuts down when trying to do one-off payment. We also need the pushing system when we want to alert a second authoriser an authorisation is required. The app should be good once it has been developed a bit more. Update: The problem of the app closing down has gone away follow my purchase of a Samsung A34 to replace my J6.

App requires card reader to register every time. Every time it updates it requires the card reader, you loose pin etc need card reader. I use this app if I'm at home or away to make/ authorise urgent payments. My card reader is in the office. I've asked and they won't issue a second card for a second card reader (i.e. one at home and one in the office). Accordingly, every time I come to us this app I don't have card reader and can't use it. Why don't the do face recognition etc.?

Update 3rd Apr '23 This app is really getting quite annoying. When trying to make a payment from existing templates, all I get is "oops, something went wrong, try again later", and I can't even transfer from one account to another. All its good for is checking balances. And as for the silly pop-ups that ask " do you love Bankline?", "No!" Great app when working, but recently keeps stopping due to "unknown error" requiring deletion and re-install of app. Any ideas why? It's becoming a pain.
