2024-06-21 | Chris Mears | I haven't had any issues with it & it does what i need it to do. All the buttons work as they should. Only thing i don't like is when playing COD Mobile you need to keep a xbox/ps4 controller near so you can use the bluetooth in the controller because the Kishi itself does not have Bluetooth. Since using it my performance in game is a lot better getting at the least 10 kills or more in BR Mode & 30 kills or more depending on game mode in multiplayer. It helps a lot when playing against cheaters.
2023-05-16 | Anthony Sambirsky | Fantastic product, but the app is almost entirely useless. Used this for a little over a year now, the "compatible" games within the app barely highlight the variety of use this device offers to gamers. I've been able to play games on my computer streamed to my phone like GTA V and an emulator that has custom button input commands specifically for the Kishi. Dpad could be better, but the triggers thumbsticks and buttons are quite satisfying in my opinion. Hopefully it stays future proof for now
2023-01-26 | L0rd Dagw00d | Best Controller and Price to Match. Sure not all the games that get pulled up on the APP run well or even run with the controller. However, you want hands on for Xbox cloud gaming, Diablo Immortal, Undecember... etc. This controller does it all. Some games actually do have a button remap in-game settings (y'all check that out). Overall, try games and enjoy with the best controller I've used yet.
2022-08-15 | William Buss | At first I absolutely loved the app and controller and would of given u a full 5 starts and then some. Now all of a sudden the whole left side of my controller quit working. I tried the update and nothing. It's not expensive controller to have quit with no reason behind it. It was past my return date so I couldn't get another. Love it but very very frustrated with it also. So if you can fix my problem I'll gladly give you the 5 stars you rightfully deserve
2022-05-10 | Shawn B Thompson | ***NEEDS ABILITY TO REMAP BUTTONS/INPUTS*** My issue is with wanting/needing the ability to remap button/inputs on the controller and/or with the app. I don't want to use a 3rd party app. Which makes me root my phone. Just to have a better set-up for button/inputs for playing my game. Please, add button remapping to the Razer Kishi. It would make all the difference in the world.
2022-01-19 | Eric Hjelm | App is clunky and not intuitive. Software itself still has bugs. Pretty often, the controller stops registering and will continue with buttons last being pushed. I let go of thumb sticks but Minecraft character continued to walk right off a cliff. I've tried to change direction in RL Sideswipe but controller keeps going in the wrong direction for a few seconds before it starts registering again. Being unreliable makes this controller pretty useless. Happens frequently in different games.
2021-12-03 | Nathan Payton | Not sure point of app. App is ad for more games. App is just a AIO game launcher (I can do this with homescreen folders). Can't interact with Kishi using the app, app shows a message that Kishi is connected. Please add ability to change button mapping and macros like X = A + B. Developer, no issue to screenshot. There is no Kishi interaction in the app. Can't look at buttons being pressed, can't remap buttons, can't add macros. Also for some reason my review was deleted.
2021-08-16 | Dana Sciandra | Can't update the firmware. When the controller is connected, I can't get it to check for updates. I have an S21 Ultra. I can highlight the "check" button that is supposed to check for new firmware updates, but regardless of whether I tap the screen or use the buttons on the controller, nothing actually selects the option. I use my Kishi primarily for Stadia.
2021-07-18 | Christopher H | Controller supported games list needs updating and better sorting. Firmware mode is hard to enter on the controller; requires awkward hand positioning. Controller itself is decent but too short to fit a note 20 ultra without some twisting. D-Pad is quite bad; far too easy to accidentally hit diagonals when pushing down or up. Luckily the thumbstick has a good amount of resistance and can be used like a D-Pad.
2021-05-14 | Alek B | Edit: The left side of the controller stopped functioning. I'm not running on Android 11 and I tried the other troubleshooting techniques to no avail. Now the Kishi app doesn't even recognize the controller being connected when holding down Y, B, and right arrow (start button) to force reinstalling the firmware. I tried this on both a device on Android 10 and one on 8. So it worked for a few months then lost usability on half of it, which effectively turns the unit into junk. RIP. |
