Honestly really good! There are optional ads and in-app purchases, but no time-gates on how much you can play, and you can earn the paid currency in achievable time-frames. I'm sure you can't be the, like, top 1% of players without paying, but that doesn't limit how much you can enjoy the game. Oh and the game is actually fun. Mostly the mechanics from Backpack Hero but the PvP aspect and added mechanisms really add a lot to the game!

Most important: no forced ads! The only ads you get are for optional extra rewards (which are worth it) and after you die (this can be like 15-30 minutes between ads then). On top of that the play is extremely addicting and i love the art style and QoL additions! This is one of the few games I've given 5 stars to ever.

Update: 1* to 4*. Fixed the issues I had with prior update so now it's streamlined battles with optional opponent change to the side; matchmaking is more balanced; they brought back discovery rewards. Animations are snazzier & you can purchase cards now. Devs listen which is appreciated. Only concern at the moment is that I lost a heart/life I had gotten from leveling for some reason; please fix

I rarely ever give 5 stars. These devs are constantly adding content, balance patches, fixing whatever small bugs exist, all while adding QoL improvements. There are no forced ads. When you do choose to watch one, it's for an extra life(rarely needed) or to reroll a quest or shop. The ads themselves are only 5-30 seconds. If you like organizing your bag strategically, and making builds with a healthy dose of winnable RNG, then give this a try. I still play daily weeks later.

Alright, alright. It's ACTUALLY a good game. If you enjoy games with strategic depth, this backpack auto-battler might scratch an itch you didn't know you had (it did for me). It's got a heavy hand on RNG and occasionally some questionable balance, but the devs are active, and the ads are sparse and optional. Unlike most mobile titles designed to waste your time or trick you into spending, Backpack Brawl is a cut above the rest. Bravo.

Addictive for a solo game. Positives are there is variety of builds and characters, can get gems with ads to buy the extra characters. Negatives are there isn't a lot explained, items with useless upgrades, and it's hard to get the character specific items for the one you're playing.

Best backpack/bag autobattler app that I have found. I love how much more complex it is than the copy pasted ones but, best of all no forced ads! Also the only ads are for getting more gems & extra lives so you don't have to worry about playing suboptimally because the better option is behind an ad. Hero rotation is nice so that you can test out new heros before buying them the the item unlock progress keeps the game interesting as you continue playing.

Gameplay was alright I guess but my save was deleted the next day? It still shows that I have progress through the level but all my gear is gone. If that's by design, it wasn't explained and feels like a waste of time. Otherwise if that was a glitch, I don't want to risk encountering it again since I encountered it after just one day.

No forced ads, so it's already better than 90% of all mobile games. It's actually fun to play, and I really enjoy the design/art style. The mechanics are great and seems pretty balanced. Each hero's play style and item pool are very different, so you don't get bored, and it makes replaying easy. The patch notes are nice and helpful for people who care (I do). Long story short, I've dumped a lot of hours in this. The developers made a good game and they update it. Highly recommend.

There really needs to be some sort of short tutorial. This has a big learning curve. I was extremely frustrated until I started figuring things out. Very addicting. My biggest complaint is the immense amount of space required for each combination. Ex, to complete a food combo it would take up half your space. I think it should have a larger space for u to work with. Half again as big at least. The new update needs to reduce the cost for the banishing stone. Useless after 2 uses. Not very helpful
