2024-10-10 | nf | Used to be great, and for a long time. But not anymore, it's been abandoned. I got the paid version all the way back on the phone before my Galaxy S3, just at the cusp of phone makers starting to do RGB lights. And now they've gone the way of headphone jacks, replaceable batteries, and expandable storage (all of which that S3 had, and my current one does not). And so it goes with LightFlow. Even without notification light, I still used it for custom sounds based on the notification content. :o(
2022-10-05 | HSS R | This is an Incredibly and the most useful app. I have been using this app since it's inception. I reply on this app every day, all day without exception. I would is the is the most single app that I reply on the most on daily basis on my phone even mush more than the SMS app. The only downside with the app is that it has not been update for quiet sometimes. Also, the developer has not been replying to my reporting within the past several months. I hope this app gets updated so works with A OS 12
2022-01-13 | Michael Mc Guire | I installed this on by BLACKBERRY KEY2 (from 2018 and also running ANDRIOD 8.1 in 2022) as soon as I found out the generic ringtones and sounds included w/ the device and software were not individually selectable per application, notification or contact. LIGHTFLOW PRO easilly allowed me to do so and just the little things, as the few elaborated about above makes the smartphone experience much more pleasurable! I would highly recommend LIGHTFLOW PRO!
2021-11-08 | Brandon Poindexter | Works well with Xperia 1 iii's hardware RGB LED. Color don't always match what you select (more so hardware limitation really than this software) but it's good enough. Only thing not really working is the customizable LED flash rate. Slow, fast, or custom doesn't change speed. But you can change between always-on or flashing at least.
2021-07-17 | Jennifer Bowden | This is seriously the best app I have ever had! I kept an old phone for a while just because I loved the LED. I'd GLADLY pay $25 or more for an app like this if you could make it produce a digital LED (like NotifyBuddy or LEDmeknow for reference). I'm using the APK version & keep LightFlow on the phone for the functionality. Seriously I don't know if you realize what you have here - if modified for the new AMOLED phones, you could make some killer bucks! It's genius!!
2021-03-20 | Jamie Willingham | This use to be the very best LED notification app out there for Android, especially Samsung Galaxys. Not anymore. Developer decided to walk away. No updates for 2 years have made it unusable. LED Blinker Pro is working perfectly now, so it has replaced Light Flow Pro on my phones. LED notification functionality is a valuable feature to those of us who use it, and I believe it should be built-in to Android so that developers who decide to abandon their apps don't leave us high and dry.
2020-11-22 | Wendy Lin | I've used this app on multiple Nexus and Pixel phones and it has worked superbly for me - being able to distinguish between apps' notifications at a glance is a much-needed feature for me. Sadly, I upgraded to a Google Pixel 4a recently and the phone itself does not have a notification LED at all. I'm keeping Light Flow installed because the custom vibration patterns are still helpful to me, but I hope that the dev will consider adding the ability to draw notifications to arbitrary screen regions (e.g. the edges of the screen, the top bar, or the ring surrounding the camera punch-out bezel). That would allow us with newer/differently equipped phones to continue using Light Flow to help with our notification management.
2020-07-13 | Simon Browne | This is one of the best most practical and functional apps for my work phone. And its rock solid with ample flexibility for all your notification needs from any app or contact in your contacts list. Reactle helped me through some tough times the last few months with an issue which turned out to be hardware related. Support is there, prompt and to a high standard. Update on Android 10. Sadly it is now a 2 * with same symptoms as recently posted by others this year. Also sad that dev
2020-06-19 | Roy Kidder | This app was great. I used it on several different phones and found it really helpful. Unfortunately, the developer appears to have abandoned it and some functions no longer work on new phones and/or newer versions of Android. Note to developer: please feel free to put some more work into this! Many of the people who paid for the app would appreciate it.
2020-05-12 | RinVancouver F | Worked great for years until I upgraded to Android 10. Now repeat Sounds try get at incorrect intervals or not at all. Vibrations, initial or repeat, rarely trigger at all. Tried all kinds of settings and uninstall/reinstall. No joy. Emailed developer twice - radio silence. Too bad - this was a great app. |
