| 2024-10-03 |  | | Probably the best radar app on the market. From watching hurricanes from states away, to making sure a tornado isn't coming directly for me, it works great. My favorite features are the different radar modes and the customizable weather alarm. You can pick from 2 different sounds and pick what alerts it will warn you of. It can also be disabled if it gets too annoying. You can also see a lot of past scans too. |

Sometimes I want a clean look at a specific source without a ton of overlays that distract from the focus. Everytime I have to click through like 20 menus searching for the various locations of all of the overlays just to get that look, then if I want the old one back to look at a more general look I have to find them one by one and add them. Having profiles would be really helpful. |
| 2024-09-20 |  | | Great app. Only shortcoming is that the app only give an option to "share" screenshots, recordings, or animated GIFs through a choice of other apps. The file does go into a Radar Omega folder, but it would be great to have an actual "Save" button, and where you want it to go. |

The resolution is very low (about 1/4 the scale in single site view, but about 1/10 or worse in mrms), custom locations are only single points that blend in with the rest of the interface and a significant amount of data (metars, storm tracks, etc) is only available in the single site radar view. Also, no web view. |

However everything I wanted with it is an extra subscription charge every month and it's not cheap!! Each addition is another charge! I can't even get a decent weather map. The free apps are much better. The only thing I like which now doesn't always work is spotting the storm chasers. Also the map is covered with green dots which I guess are other users and I can't seem to delete them. I'd like a refund. |
| 2024-07-20 |  | | Pros - Nice when it works. Cons - I paid for the alpha sub, got it installed on my pc, and phone. My laptop won't cooperate with Windows OS. I emailed support in May. Got initial help but didn't solve it and was told it would be passed to engineers. A month passes, and I don't hear anything. Contact support again and basically get ignored, minimal answers,no help. I fixed the issue myself but still canceled my subscription due to very poor support, and I will spend my money elsewhere. |

For 11.99 a month i expect it to run constantly not for one turn then stop. FIX ASAP or ill unsubscribe altogether. Will give highest rating if those issues are fixed. Also the sweep should be included in alpha tier. Everything should be included. Starting to look like a money grab. Very very dissapointed right now. I wanted this for 2 years |
| 2024-06-25 |  | | The data and tools this app provides seems to be well ahead of any other enthusiast app. Additionally, the subscription plans are expensive and I would like them to be cheaper, but the cost vs the data and tools received is justified imo, compared to other apps at least. My big gripe is that the app itself needs work. It kills itself every time you navigate away from it, doesn't support window resizing, and is generally clunky to navigate. If this is resolved then five stars for you. |

RadarOmega has been a really nice tool in addition to the other apps I like to reference (Wx, RadarScope, etc). Even though you have the option to get a subscription, the base app has a lot of nice features. Some of the negative prior reviews mention the intuitiveness being less than ideal but I found it easy to use. |
| 2024-04-27 |  | | Overall, I'm quite happy with the app. It includes a lot more features in the base app compared to competitors, and I appreciate the extra detail like tornado emergencies having their own purple/black box separate from normal warnings. However, the UI feels quite dated and laggy, like it's capped at 60FPS which isn't great in the era of 120hz+ phones. Also, minor bug, it keeps saying I'm offline when I open the app, but hitting retry always works. |
