Horrid app. DANGEROUS to anyone with it installed. Even after adjusting settings to lowest possible and blocking nothing, it kept blocking items. Blocked the hot keys to text me. Blocked turning the phone on and phone calls when they were trying to reach me. DANGEROUS. Customer service was no help. Told me to keep trying and maybe newer versions wouldn't block things.

Edited review. My son couldn't use his phone to order a taxi even though that app has never been blocked. SO FRUSTRATING!! And potentially dangerous as he was stranded by himself for almost an hour. Fortunately a friend came by and offered his phone. I'll be canceling Qustodio this week. Way too many bugs and liabilities.

Due to the character limits on reviews, I had to delete my previous description to update. I've just asked for a cancelation of the qustodio subscription. The constant alerts that mean nothing, most recently flagging "ok" as self harm, or depression, was the final straw. Additionally he can't call us (his parents and emergency contacts in the app) if his time is up, leaving me to decide if I should remove time constraints entirely, or block his ability to call us in an emergency.

🗑️ trash app. It took over my daughter's phone and didn't let her call or text or open any app. I thought the control settings were changed. I completely remover my daughter's account and devices. But it seems like the app became a glitch or a virus. Had to remove everything from everywhere. Impossible to get in touch or call customer service. Just avoided. Worst $55 spent in my life.

The app is ok. It allows you to monitor your child's usage but it lacks the ability to keep your child from using the phone even after time is up. The app is unable to segregate games, chat, and educational time limits which is what I wanted. The ability to block off restricted time is by the hour which is inconvenient when I would like to do half hour. It's difficult to find a phone app that covers all. Pinwheel is another option but it has it quirk's.

I have been trying to get help for almost 3 weeks via the website and several emails to support. I have had premium for years. I clicked renew thru the button in the app. This took me to renewal thru a googleplay subscription. My Q account uses my hotmail and never updated! So now I have an active subscription but no working protection for my 14y son. As I'm not premium in Q eyes anymore I can't even get assistance! This review is the only way I can figure to ask for help now.

They do a great job of selling the features of this app, but it's awful in reality. It's cumbersome, not user friendly, and glitchy. Location updating is wildly inaccurate and the alerts are significantly time delayed. They is no way way to quickly make one time adjustments to screen time allowances without changing whole routines that I have to remember to go back in and change later. It will tell me that there are 2 new search alerts, but I click on it and it says no new alerts.

I was looking for a replacement for Kaspersky Safe Kids and unfortunately this is not it. Qustodio is not nearly as feature rich. For instance my child could not request additional time and I could not set app exceptions that could be used after the time had run out. As soon as the time limit was up their device became a brick and they could not listen to music or make calls and send messages like I had allowed with Safe Kids.

Didn't allow me to read text messages as promised. The app is difficult to use, and it's almost impossible to cancel your subscription. I was billed an extra year because the 'cancel subscription' was too hard to find. When I did find the "cancel subscription" option, the web page wouldn't respond to my choice to cancel."

I was so excited to purchase the year-long subscription. The free version worked great as a trial. Ever since I purchased it though I've been having nothing but problems. I have looked up all the helpful websites, questions and answers. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled it on my daughter's phone and my phone. I have tried multiple times to do updates. And all this time it will not allow me to view my child's text messages and phone calls. Highly disappointed and bummed I paid for it.
