| 2024-12-11 |  | | According to me still the best dongle DAC. The sound is excellent over Bluetooth when using LDAC and outstanding when connecting it to your smartphone over USB. It has a ton of features that you will not find another dongle Dax on the market, most importantly a 20 step PEQ with which you can save 15 settings. If you are a subscriber to Tidal and/or Quobuz you also should invest 4 USD for the UNIVERSAL AUDIO PLAYER PRO app which will connect to the Qudelix. The resulting sound phantastic! |

| 2024-09-30 |  | | Overall I love this device. However, I just dropped 3 stars off my review because Everytime I try to load a custom EQ preset the app will either close or simply refuse to load it. I've factory reset my 5k twice and still no luck. Will bump back up to 5 stars once this is fixed. |
| 2024-08-15 |  | | The app (or rather the device I guess) worked pretty much flawlessy until few a updates ago. I own heaphones with unbalanced 3.5 mm jack as well as with balanced 2.5 mm. Previously the device automatically switched between the outputs every time with no problem, but now, for some reason, the device defaults to QX-over output mode no matter which headphones I plug. I have to switch it manually every time. I was hoping the last update would fix that, but it didn't unfortunately. |

My Samsung Galaxy S20 Note Ultra is apparently incapable of facilitating the necessary requirements to perform this task, so I must endure the prompting to update at virtually every action until I can get to a laptop, wire a physical connection, install the browser plug-in and complete the update (it's a royal pain in the butt for an aging individual like me...). |

The flexibility and control this provides (with its hardware) should appeal to any enthusiast. Truly great parametric EQ. Fantastic hardware control and transparency; I wish phones were made with this much respect for their users. Recent Update: Some people don't like change, but it's intelligently designed. Congratulations to the company for excellence. |
| 2024-03-04 |  | | V3.0 has some issues. App is great but I have two complaints about V3.0 Please devs, X-Feed NEEDS to have IT'S OWN DEDICATED SLIDER. I ask, please do not move it to the EQ DSP page. I use the X-Feed feature a lot and the 0-50 box is very annoying. Also X-Feed stays enabled when EQ DSP switch is off and cannot be adjusted. Also, after upgrading to V3.0.0 the Q5K defaults to performance mode and high gain mode. If you are having excessive battery drain switch back to standard mode/normal gain. |
| 2024-03-02 |  | | Fantastic app. Just an annoying bug that appears to be stopping my 5K being auto-connected on opening. If updatimg firmware this fails due to a disconnect. Click cancel and quickly reconnect if the connection is lost in the process to workaround this or use a PC. P.S. Custom EQs are not lost, just go to DSP -> Option -> select '20 band' and it will revert to what was before and have your EQ there. Use a PC/Mac and you can export any custom EQs and import them again, or do so manually. |

Just if the sound could return to middle/medium, as to not blow out my ears with the startling and very loud connection sound. Since there is no real way to know the sound output on from the device. The app is the reason I bought the device. Where its made is a plus. I do have a pin that sticks out that cuts the gods but only a nanometer. Over all Compared to it's competitors, no comparison. |
