2024-10-28 | Raymond Dowling | poor buggy performance on android not a patch on the Windows experience mostly goes to black screen A reply almost 3 months later?
2024-10-03 | Eric O'Malley | not very good app for mobile phone very hard to control point and open close windows on computer. for computer to computer excellent those you need remotepc to be able to adjust graphic setting and graphic refresh rates for laptop to desktop would be improvement.
2024-10-02 | khalid gammoudi | ★★★★★ Excellent resolution and is incredibly efficient. It provides a seamless experience with smooth performance, making remote work easy and effective. Highly recommend!
2024-09-18 | Marianne Llandelar | Very difficult to use remote desktop in mobile. You need a phone with a pen to be able to properly type using the keyboard. I can't even move the screen to where I need to be. the arrows in the middle are too small. Not recommended to use this on mobile.
2024-04-18 | Jerod Thomason (Ratguy) | For business use, get splashtop instead. Desktop is do-able, but has some latency issues when scrolling or moving windows. Mobile is not usable in my experience. Minimizing a window takes about 10 seconds for something that should instantaneous, and forget about trying to scroll accurately to select something. 2 stars because the app functions if you have no other option to connect.
2024-04-13 | chrissy vee | Freezes. Sometimes after restarting the host computer remotely it locks you out/ remotepc viewer show you are offline but in fact you are not. The host computer is on. Unless someone is available to check host computer then your remote status will remain offline. This is challenging when you are remote and may not have anyone to checknthe host computer especially if office is closed. Which defeats the purpose of the program.
2023-09-05 | Danny Kusnierz | It just works. I use multiple OSs and versions of Linux and Windows and love it. Remember the base account supports 10 systems. Add more and you'll have to delete some or upgrade. I've connected from my IOS and android phones and tablets to desktops, servers and laptops with single and multiple screen sizes and counts without issue.
2023-07-07 | Jimmy T | everything was working fine. then I decided to update. the latest version is problematic. I'm on an nokia Android phone. the screen keeps flickering on and off. making this new version unusable. very annoying. newer is not better. Update: this problem seems to be an issue mostly when I'm on the same wifi with the host computer.
2023-04-20 | stephen fleming | Setting up a remote desktop solution is rarely straightforward; free solutions like the Windows proprietary app and Google's Chrome RDC , are often billed as all you need but, in reality they are rudimentary and, in the case of Microsoft, a real headache to configure. RemotePC just works. I installed it on Win10 and my Android device, and it did exactly what it said on the tin. No ifs, no buts, no excuses. It's rare in the world of networking for things to just work...and be secure. |
