2024-11-14 | Joseph DeVincentis | Thanks. I shouldn't need this, but each new Android version is worse than the previous one at detecting the orientation of the phone. I would just lock it into portrait, but there are times I want landscape, and locking it per app works. Now if I can just find an app that fixes the horizontal-vs-vertical detection of swipes I'll be all set.
2024-06-30 | Chris | Was tired of missing reverse portrait on my unrooted pixel⁷ after 5+ yrs of not running custom roms on my phones. Figured it was worth a shot and googled, found this, installed. Works great after 20s of intuitive setup 👍. Even has a notification pane quick settings toggle baked into the free version. Everything I wanted on my first try. Awesome. Take my ad revenue, clicked on some of the ads in the app too. Now I can use my pixel⁷ while charging -without- a 90° cable. Huzzah.
2024-06-28 | William Taft | Complicated interface. Got it set up and working the way I want finally but have no idea which settings I changed to do that. Only want it turned on some of the time and want to turn it off the rest of the time. Don’t want to uninstall as I do not want to stumble through set up again. Can’t find any website with instructions? How to turn the app off, not pause? How to save settings in case I need to setup again? Edit: Thanks for the reply and instruction.
2023-03-07 | Aaron Thomas | Thanks to the dev for explaining how to import and export settings. However the app's theming is excessively granular while the interface to customize it is extremely unintuitive. It is unclear what is being changed. The save button is part of the preview. There is both a "color" and "tint color" for every color option. I repeatedly ended up with unviewable text. And I can't figure out which color I need to change because the preview colors don't match the displayed colors.
2023-01-07 | The Tragic Muse | I got this entirely for the sake of Reddit, since I have a large tablet and it made rotation while charging a pain. It worked for about 5 seconds- as soon as I removed permission for push notifications, it stopped. I tried to find a way around permitting notifications, and the whole thing is far too complicated for a simple action, and required way too many intrusive permissions for my comfort zone. Might work if this a bigger issue for you (multiple apps), but for my purposes, not worth it.
2022-09-25 | LB | Perfect solution when using NexDock 360 (Dex laptop) and a cellphone stand. Sometimes, usb cables are thick, and then I prefer ‘Reverse portrait’ orientation. Thank you, I bought your app after some testing. Please continue maintaining this excellent app. I don know why Samsung has not implemented something to set Reverse portrait (upside down).
2022-09-25 | Grace C. | Very glad I came across this. Make things way easier since I don't understand why companies just don't let phones have the ability to rotate the screen all the way around. I've had some moments where it doesn't work right, but it always has ended up fixing itself after I restart my phone.
2022-09-09 | fm00078 | (09/09/2022) Moto-touring used this 3 times in 3 weeks, got familiar with it. Has some minor issues but not enough to uninstall. Screen in 180° position but every 5 minutes it rotates itself upright then returns to 180. No big issue but so far it hasn't happened when I'm using GOOG-Maps, that could be a big issue, so far not. Using this app I noticed these not-so-smartphones could use a charge port at each long end. But then this app wouldn't be needed. SO... so far it's a keeper.
2022-08-17 | Yassine Hachicha | Works helluva good there are all the options you can think of so you can personalize everything from notification buttons to even priority and although it's nice to support the creators by buying the premium version and it adds some secondary options you don't need to as all the important things are available in the free version also you can download the theme app from the same creator for more personalisation, last thing the wide variety of option may if you take your time it become quite clear
2022-07-14 | Brian Piscitelli | Can't get this app to change the orientation to reverse portrait on Google maps automatically on my S22 Ultra. Thanks for the response. Sensor portrait works to get the reverse portrait and/or standard portrait working in google maps, but removes the ability to do landscape. Hopefully you get this figured out! A lot of people use this, not sure why it was removed. Keep us posted! |
