Added in a bunch of Permissions the printer did not require before and does not need (sketchy), and while there are a bunch of new frames, all the Halloween ones from the early days of this app when i purchased the printer, have still not been added back in, nor the halloween stickers. I would assume this was seasonal (which i dont like when i can print photo gifts ahead of the holidays), but theres a bunch of thanksgiving right now. Its march. |
| 2024-02-13 |  | | Haven't used my Zip (Polaroid Zink, 2017 model) printer in a few years. Got a new cell phone. Installed this latest Zip print app. Updated firmware and TMD. Tried to print a screenshot. App finds printer and spins as if going to print, then displays "wrong customer" error message and won't print. Tried to print directly by selecting the gallery image and 'sharing' with printer. App does not turn up in list of apps I can share with. Considering I spent around $130 for printer, it should work. |
| 2023-07-25 |  | | It was great a few years ago. I'm not sure what changed, but you can't do anything with this app or printer anymore. It used to work fine, be it a little rough with going through menus, but it worked. Now, even though everything is connected, the app just sits in the "preparing for printing" screen. I've reset the ZIP, reinstalled the app, disconnected and reconnected my device multiple times, nothing works. Really sad cause I loved my little printer |
| 2022-09-21 |  | | I have used this app for probably 2 years or so. This is the first time I've ran into an troubles. At first the application would start to open and then just close randomly. Saying app is not responding. Turned off my phone and on again several times. Nothing. Re installed the app several times and it is now telling me my permissions for the app are turned off but I have them all on and it isn't recognizing it and won't work. Not sure what is going on. |
| 2021-09-19 |  | | Literally the worst, seemingly easy, tech I've ever used. The printer is useless without the app and the app hasn't worked for me in well over 2 years, despite updates. I decided to try it again, and was forced to update. But I tried several times, even leaving the update screen open for an hour and it never updated or gave me any kind of error message. I would take the printer to the Goodwill, but don't want someone to buy something I KNOW will not work. Worst app/ product combo EVER. TRASH. |
| 2021-05-29 |  | | Ok guys, I know we all had issues with the app since the update, but I finally got it to work after a week. Here's what I did.... after reinstalling the app 1 Turn on your location then your Bluetooth and pair the device 2 open app 3 go to your gallery pick a pic you want printed, you should see the device connected then. It has been working for me with no issues I hope this helps,it has been frustrating I know. Best of luck! |
| 2020-12-29 |  | | I have had my zip since 2016 the app worked really good. And now recently it doesn't work at all. It doesn't connect to my zip, it takes forever to find my zip. One day I let it find my zip for an hour and still nothing. I am really disappointed in the app. I like using it so I can print my own mini photos from my phone to my zip. Please fix this issue immediately |

The fact that this information is hidden behind this much effort is frustrating. Original review: App is useless. Connected to printer in bluetooth. Entered the PIN to connect. Open the app, try to print a picture, cannot find device. Press retry 5 times. Restart the app, no luck. |

I've emailed customer service twice asking for some sort of fix with no response. I gave them both a couple weeks but still nothing. Edit 10/3: Still haven't heard anything :( |
| 2020-06-27 |  | | Most recent update (6/26/20) broke my printer. After installing the update to the printer itself, over and over again, I was finally able to get to the print screen. I had my selections all ready to go and it "print" to see the screen flash and nothing happen. After more than an hour trying to get a image to print I gave up. I've been using this product for several years now, please update your update so I'm not forced to switch to a competitor's product. |
