2024-09-20 | Kaveh Ahmadian | The content is great, but the app could use more polish. Takes some time to add a course to a connection, but the worst thing is that you can't see your downloaded courses without an internet connection. It just says there was an error and doesn't show you downloads. What is the point of downloading courses if you can't access them offline?!?
2024-08-10 | Eliot Carney-Seim | This app is a joke. Clearly there are no testers from pluralsight on these. I can't believe I payed for this garbage. 1. Rotating the phone causes the app to lose its place, it seems like there are 2 instances running simultaneously on this app for vertical and horizontal displays. Insane... 2. There is no warning for Skill IQ whe clicking on it to start. And if you accidentally start a test, you MUST SPEND 20 MINUTES FINISHING. 3. The entire video space is a play button?? Profoundly senseless.
2023-12-31 | Luis Carreras | Video is very slow to play. I downloaded a full course to be able to study during an offline period and I have to wait more than 30 seconds for any of the videos to play. Downloaded videos! No indication that the app is trying to perform background work and you're left wondering if the app noticed your tap. If you keep tapping, when the video finally plays, you end up with a video restart for every tap. Insane input lag. Hoped for much better considering what these guys do.
2022-11-24 | Daniel Sherrer | If I were able to give fractional stars I would have rated this app about 4.8. The service so far, for me, is a solid 5 stars, but the app itself is a little clunky. And I do mean just a little clunky. Performance and latency issues are not a problem for me (and I'm using a relatively unreliable connection) however there are a couple of quality of life issues I've noticed. Overall, I highly recommend the content and I'm pleased with the service! Worth it!!
2022-08-23 | Kathryn Brock | I've loved Pluralsight for years! Excellent instructors, and the skills, paths and evaluations are great. So much has been added in the last few years, it just gets better and better. Now they partner with the company I work for, which enables customized, focused learning instruction and paths. 😁 I can't say enough good things. The only "negative" I've experienced is when I was looking for instruction on an older technology I needed to learn/use, and it wasn't available. Otherwise, perfect!
2021-07-04 | Rob Richardson | Been using this App on Chromecast w/ Google TV for a few weeks. It works, but it causes system instability issues for Google TV. For example, after using Pluralsight for a while, performance really starts to slow down. The only remedy was going into the Google TV system menu to perform a "Force stop" of the Pluralsight Application. Another example: Earlier today, I paused playback on a course, came back several hours later, and Chromecast w/ Google TV had booted to recovery screen with messaging about an unstable application. I've never experienced this behavior with any other application so I'm pretty sure it's Pluralsight. I hope these issues can get fixed. I really enjoy being able to watch Pluralsight courses from the comfort of my sofa.
2021-03-14 | Leo Ma | When the video is being played, once minimize the current video window (click the down arrow at the top), the whole window just disappeared with audio is still playing.... there is no way to bring the course playing window back. Even if I close the app, the cause is still played in the background with sounds but no video. I have to kill the app to stop the video.
2020-10-06 | Brandon Mally | App is very broken on Andriod 10. Vids continue to play even when the app is closed or back button. Chronological and seqential ordering of modules is broken (downloaded content). Good spectrum of material and normally recent content and material. Can download modules. Wish it would let you select an entire course instead of each module individually. Good source of IT training vids. Would recommend.
2020-10-02 | Samuel Kelly | The mobile app is decent. Audio player sometimes has issues starting but is better than other apps on the market. The REAL value is having Pluralsight's actual content on the go! While some trainers are a little dry or boring, all resources I've used (approx 50+ hours) have been exceptionally thorough, clear, and concise. When you find lessons with a trainer who's style is really accessible (Dale Meredith or Ricardo Reimao), you'll fly through these and not realize how prepared you've become!
2020-08-28 | Fran A | Seems to be a major bug while searching for courses. To reproduce: 1. Search courses by topic 2. Scroll through the list 3. Bookmark courses 4. Bug - List will disappear, after a while it will reappear again will lost its last scroll position making the searching experience very frustrating. This happens consistently on a pixel 3a with Android 10, and Galaxy Tablet-A with android 7 Will update review once bug is fixed. Thanks |
