2024-10-31 | Katie Kat | I like the game, but when I get a new phone and have to sign back in, I really wish I could just sign-in to my account immediately instead of being forced to wait after reaching however many levels it's taking to finally be given permission by the game to sign-in to my account and recover my progress.. it's really making me not want to play anymore. Why couldn't you just put that option in the settings menu? I don't want to play from the beginning over and over.
2023-08-22 | Ceasar Meridian Dazzle | LOVE this game. Took me some time to actually get around to DL it but now I'm obsessed. I just wish you could turn the House's and Structures in more directions and have an item count number next to each item in your storage, so you know what you need and what you already have!! Another MAIN ISSUE I have is sometimes when an item is finished being loaded, I get cheated out of the item and have to get more items to get the new item again because it won't show that I got it after loading.
2023-07-14 | Mary G | Cool game, but biggest pitfall is that it's too easy to accidentally spend the "real" dollars that are paid for or take time to accumulate. A small mis-touch and poof, gone! Please add a confirmation box for spending dollars and I'd probably pay money again, but not with how it is now. *edited - I found the option to turn on notifications, that's what I needed! 5 stars.
2021-12-07 | Ashley Lund | I have mixed feelings. it is really fun to play. BUT it is a big "pay to play" game. PROS - very fun to play - fun story lines - really fun to decorate town CONS - expensive in-game currency and purchased items - most missions either require a lot of money to start or they require you to purchase items with money to continue a free mission - buggy, lags, scrolling stops, too sensitive to touch (accidentally selling items, starting tasks, etc) - inaccurate % for monster drop item (much lower)
2020-12-17 | Anthony Mercer | Still has bugs. Still glitchy. Having a hard time pushing the buttons. Having difficulty with the game running properly. But it's still really fun. Still takes me back to my childhood reading goosebump books and remembering all the good stories. Do you love the updates and the seasonal quests. Thanksgiving was a really fun one. Had to start over though cuz it kept freezing on me.
2020-11-27 | Justin Martin | Very customizable, you just have to have patience. The scenes change with the seasons with the books in mind. Ther are some mild scary scenes for very young children. Entertaining & can be addictive. There are in-game purchases that are very tempting. You can save via linking your Facebook account, so you can come back where you left off at anytime, with an internet connection. A faster internet connection & battery saver mode off is recommended for less in game freezes & lagging.
2020-08-07 | Michael | Money quickly piled up. Too few of the Goosebucks to go around, and definitely would've preferred some quicker and more lucrativeway to get them. The deals already there just don't add up quickly enough to really matter, and while not a knock against the game itself, my app got deleted, and I lost all my progress; with what I've seen, there's no way to restore your town. Was about level 23 or 24, had gotten the Horror Throne, and to the reveal (that I don't want to spoil for people reading).
2019-10-19 | A Google user | Fun but irritating. It would be a lot more fun if the cost of certain things weren't so high. I get that the game does run on in app purchases but that takes away a lot of the fun when the cost can be too high for all characters and especially getting more land for the town. The fact that we have to buy the land as we level up when it already is enough to have certain special objects is highly irritating. It would more fun to get more space as we level up the town.
2019-10-12 | A Google user | Fun, but MANY quests take premium currency to finish and the ratio of currency earned vs currency needed is off balance. It also sadly freezes often enough that playing can feel tedious at times, including when watching ads to speed up processes, which then doesn't give you the reward despite having watched the ad. Like I said, fun, but nothing to write home about.
2019-02-18 | A Google user | I was addicted to this game. It was great until the Valentine Event update. My game crashes as soon as it loads up. Contacted customer support and they say it's on my end. But I have the same issue as everyone else with a bad review. Brand new phone and only a small percentage of storage used, so it's not that. And we pay for great wifi so it's not my service either. I'll miss this game, but I'll find something as good! |
