| 2024-12-01 |  | | Was a fan since 2010. This app has turned into an aggressive sales app. I can't search anything if I want actual inspo. It's literally like a shopping tool. And the sorting feature doesn't let you remove products. Honestly I'm so disappointed in Pinterest. I don't mind the products but that was never the main feature and it's so unbelievably agressive |

It's hard to find real art or non sponsored posts, and it's frustrating having to sift through ads and art theft (ai art) in order to find what I'm really looking for. I just don't see why this website/app became what it is now for any reason but corporate greed. |
| 2024-12-01 |  | | It used to be great. Now it's SO MUCH ADVERTISING, it gives me headaches just trying to look at a recipe. Or anything really. Repeated recipes, blogs with every scroll. Ads for things I am SO NOT INTEŔESTED IN and some that I think are innappropriate. I feel it is just too big to bother with. Sad. |

Tons of people are talking about the ads, whatever, my problem is that I updated the app to fix my search function (when I looked something up, only 5-8 pins would show, then I'd hit a block where it just wouldn't let me scroll anymore) and the new layout was an unwelcome surprise that came with it. All of my pins (on my SHARED account with my siblings) are visible in the "pins" tab of the profile (bad). I can't fit anymore in this review. |
| 2024-11-29 |  | | Very good app for ideas and all, but when I tried to save something to a board, it said "sorry! You've hit a block. (Bulk actions) we have in place to combat spam. Try again later". And I have no clue what that means but either way, I waited 4 hours, came back, and could only save 7 things. So I give it a 4. I even deleted some boards and it still didn't work. I hope they can remove that. Also for the dming / message thing, you can't delete messages. |
| 2024-11-28 |  | | I used to love this app. I have been using Pinterest for like 14 years at this point. But here recently it has been nothing but ads and AI content. I really wish that they would take a stand and at the very least limit AI generated content. Because there's nothing more annoying than looking for a crochet patterns and it's just AI that is nonsensical. Also if you are a person that is looking up plus size fashion almost all of your ads are going to be shapewear or diet related. |
| 2024-11-27 |  | | Not what it once was. Lately, when I search for things, the app only shows me products. I am NOT on Pinterest to shop. I am here to look at images of things I'm interested in to gather inspiration. I do not want every post to be an item for sale. When I search "1920s dress" and all you show me are cheap reproductions for sale and not historic images or modern images with examples that is the OPPOSITE of what I want. This app is almost useless now because there is no way to turn it off. Sad. |
| 2024-11-27 |  | | Used to be cool but this app now has WAY too much advertisements. I counted like 56 all on one page. Pinterest is consistently buggy and will randomly make you an over of a random pin, just to ban you for being the owner of a pin that gets taken down (even though you didn't ask to be assigned it??) If you have an email, block Pinterest. They WILL spam you constantly with "pin deleted" notifications, especially if your account has a lot of pins saved . |

AND doesn't give notifications when a friend texts me through the app. I agree with another person I hate how it refreshes with no reason as well. Even ads don't load properly. And when pictures don't load it glitches downwards and sometimes when you click on an image it gives you a loads a different image. |

They've injected ads into literally every empty space that exists in the app. If you're reading this and considering downloading this app, DON'T. Just use the desktop site and install an adblocker. There is literally no point in having this app unless you want to look at ads. If that's the case, then by all means, get the app and enjoy your ads. But if you want to look for ideas on anything at all, you won't find it with the Pinterest app. I promise. |
