I thought this was going to give me the component values to use for the timing parameters I want. Instead I have to work this app backwards to approximate numerous times until I get somewhere near what I need.

There are a few mistakes. On astable t high = 0.69 (Ra+Rb) C, not 0.69 (Ra) C. T low is correct. T low = 0.69 (Rb) C Also on frequency f = 1.44 / (Ra+2Rb) C or 1 / 0.69 (Ra+2Rb) C, Not 1.44 / (Ra+Rb) C. In t high Rb is missing in the equation. In frequency, Rb is times 2.
