2024-11-08 | Drew N | Never works for media. I can't believe how much trouble this app has given me. I love to post videos and pictures throughout the week to show my students' parents and it always says unable to attach media. I emailed the company and reached out for support, it took them about 3 weeks to finally have their programmers " fix" what was wrong but it still didn't work. If you use it on your desktop, it seems to work better. Seesaw and ClassDojo were so much more functional as far as sharing media.
2024-10-16 | Dorianne Dias | Whoever thought that this style of app would be good for busy parents must be someone with no kids. There are too many options, and it's not intuitive. Sending a direct message to one of my kids' teachers is nearly an endeavor. The only reason it gets two stars instead of one is that it nominally functions. I eventually figure it out after MUCH effort and consternation. 10/10 would NOT recommend schools implement.
2024-10-07 | Brandon Smith | Glitchy, slow to run, poorly made. Notifications don't come until you open the app (all notifications are allowed) and then the app freezes and lags and glitches out when you try to do literally anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. The only app on my phone to behave this way. I don't trust it for my kids school.
2024-10-04 | Tracey Keitt | Overall a solid app but a bit glitchy at times and won't allow me to click into certain sections/tabs. Usually closing and reopening fixes this. The big issue is that PS doesn't allowing parents to CC each other on messages. For example, if a teacher messages my spouse and me, those messages are sent separately and we can't see each others responses. Additionally I can't even add non-teachers (just classroom parents) to messages I send. This makes communicating on parents square ineffective.
2024-09-26 | Tiffany Westerly | Very cluttered interface, not at all intuitive. Needs major UX improvements. Our district is rolling this out, starting with the communication section. The communication feed is a mess. It's a wall of repetitive text. The graphic design/visual aspect is so cluttered and overwhelming. Zero attempt at visual hierarchy. Get rid of the heart/comment stuff if disabled, use logo vs text - didn't clutter screen. Update 9-26: 6 months later and zero improvements.
2024-08-21 | Lionhearted | I feel the app could make improvements on accessibility and ease of use. When clicking on posts or attachments. It stays loading, and nothing ever pops up. It's frustrating to manage. Any important information gets emailed directly to me, but nothing ever shows on the app. When logged in, I can see my profile and who my child is. But when trying to access posts made from teachers, it shows a child that is not mine and therefore denies me access. I've used class dojo for years with no problems.
2024-07-31 | Frankie Linnel | Messages often come through but then sometimes they double in your email and it can make things rather annoying. I often find that I can't for some reason turn the notifications off even though I have turned them off. It can be quite problemsome, but aside from that communication between the school and I as well
2024-04-22 | Colleen Kiser | It's better than trying to find announcements on Facebook or outdated websites. Frustrating because app notifications seem to not be an option on my new Galaxy S24. I checked that the phone is set to allow notifications for the app and used the advanced settings so I could go to the app and fine tune how I get messages. Luckily, texting was an option since the app notification slider keeps changing back to "no" every time I try to select it.
2023-04-26 | Jason Kleypas | The recent update to this app, combined with the recent OS update on my phone, have affected how this app works. I cannot receive notifications anymore, no matter my settings. While trying to view pictures, the app constantly reports that it isn't responding, even when it's actually working. This continues even after I close the app. Nothing has changed after a few months and updates. This app stinks.
2022-11-05 | Kristin Wissler | I have had the worst experience with this app, it does not work at all! I've been told they're trying to figure out the problem...but now it's been over a month into the school year and going into snow season (School notifies via app -which I won't get!) So it's just absolutely garbage and actually worse than if it didn't exist at all. Extremely frustrating!!! |
