App summary

Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software is a universal non-root method for transferring files between onboard memory of your Android device and Windows or Mac-formatted USB Flash Drive.

The app is fully integrated with Paragon File System Link document provider, based on Storage Access Framework (SAF), that ensures access to device storage, cloud storage services, USB storages and data management.

Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software also provides data access on USB Flash Drives directly from SAF-supported third-party applications - file managers, messengers, and social networks (requires Android built-in file manager Documents running on the device).

NOW with Android TV support!

With Paragon File System Link you can:

• Copy, Move, Delete and Rename files on USB storage devices using various file managers.

It works just fine for reading and deleting files (more than my phones built in file manager can do) but with it forcing you to use Total Commander I can't find a way at all to copy files onto my USB, I can select a user defined location but it just does nothing when trying to select this plug-in within Total Commander, if I could copy files onto the USB then it would be a instant 5 stars.

Automatically pops up to mount, nice. An earlier poor review by me was incorrect ... I had forgotten the following for my OnePlus phone: Some phones require you to enable OTG or something similar to connect USB data cables. My OnePlus 9 5G requires that and gives me 10 minutes to connect before it turns it off for security. My Samsung Galaxy A54 doesn't require that, just plug it in.

I think it must be difficult to make an app that manages NTSF for Android USB. Two or three other apps just didn't work or they were poorly designed. This one has worked for me. And you don't need an external file system app. There's a little blue circle on the bottom right. Use that to find files and copy or move them to your USB storage. It's slow. I think that has more to do with the file system and adapting the, non NTSF, data stream from Android to the memory card. 512 GB SD/ pixel 8
