I use this app 24/7 for all my library books. The last week or so it's so slow. I have to hit the pause and play button several times. The skip back and forward for audiobooks doesn't register either. Haven't had this problem before so hopefully it's fixed soon. Been using audible lately instead due how slow it runs.

Free books, nice sure. Long waits, abysmal interface, forgets my place in books. Last straw was when it randomly decides to ask me for a pin that I would have no way of remembering after 2+ years of never asking before and making me jump through inconvenient hoops and reach out to my library to recover my account. I think I'll just pay for my audiobooks and avoid all this nonsense.

I love this app. It is really great and I have no complaints except for one thing... Waiting for slow readers. I know it's not their fault, but I'm waiting for a book and the same 2 people have had it for weeks, where I'm going to get it and immediately finish it 2 days later. So, I have an idea: Reading lanes. You can get in line to have the book for different amounts of time (depending on how many copies there are) some fast readers don't have to wait months for people who probably just forgot

Up until recently, I would rate this app as having 5 stars. Unfortunately, after the last update, this app takes a really long time to load. The app won't respond at first, and then I have to click "wait," then eventually, on most occasions, it will load within 30-60 seconds. I used to be able to get in my car, and my audiobook would come on automatically, but now I have to sit and mess with it every time I want to listen.Once the app opens, it's great! Please fix so I can rate 5 stars again!

Finding recommended titles in my genre of choice has never been so easy. This app is basically books on demand but you can also check out magazines manage holds. You can synce your apps across devices. You can add as many libraries as you wish expanding your list of various titles, increasing your chances to land the most enticing titles. Wishing you all the best on your literary journey. Hope you get to travel to the most amazing places, meet the most amazing characters and learn limporta

If you have access to Overdrive (the old version) avoid this app! If you have the data to stream books directly from your library do it instead. The only improvement made with this app is all aesthetic. The UI is more confusing, the DOWNLOADED content still needs an Internet connection to be used, and on my daughter's phone, it closes if she receives a notification. I used the apps internal complaint/suggestion option and only heard back after posting my thoughts here. Didn't fix anything.

I LOVE this app! It's helped get me back into reading like when I was younger and support my library. If I go to a book store, I check the app to see if my library has a digital version. My biggest annoyance is the wait times but that's really an issue with the library rather than the app. There was a glitch a while back where opening a book on the Kindle app caused all of my Chrome windows to close with no chance of recovery, but I don't know if that was resolved. (I'm too scared to test it.)

I've used this app for a few years now and have got to say I have not really run into issues on the apps end. Works as it should, clean looking, easy to navigate and reliable. If you like audiobooks or reading books on your tablet or phone give this a try. I always recommend it to everyone.

I enjoyed this reader's presentation, as well as the excellent writing of this great storyteller. The main characters are likable and interesting. The historical setting is quite educational. The story is compelling. My only issue is: when did we stop using the long e sound in the word "the" when it precedes a vowel sound . . . as in the air, the only, the effort?

rating this to mention there are connectivity issues suddenly. i see others are having similar problems since October. but it seems to get worse sometimes, i can't even search for a book right now because the search won't load. opening a book from my list to sample it comes up with errors until a few refreshes. it's hit or miss if the app will work lately. it's not my internet, i checked, so maybe just an update got weird? I'll edit this if it improves!
