This app desperately needs an update due to stream failing to load. Otherwise this app works great and it isnt perfect. It's a little delayed from the actual twitch app, but it doesnt make a stream unwatchable Edit July 29/2023- devs have made multiple improvements to this app and only thing i wish for is 7tv emotes, and a way to bypass the ad-screen

2023-04-17, VOD do not work at all right now, clips and live work fine. Can't report bug because I couldn't find that feature in the app. VODs are the only thing I want to watch :( Only functional twitch app out there. Works well, doesn't crash, lag or anything like that. It is even configurable.

Needs proper background playback. If I lock my phone to turn the screen off it just stops playing. Also it stops if you hit back to see what other streamers are live, it should keep playing and do a PIP in app like the normal twitch app does. It's solid if you play on having your screen on 100% of the time but I don't so it's kind of a deal breaker for me unfortunately.

The app stopped ads for a very long time. It still "stops ads", but recently it started showing a quiet screen "ads in progress" when ads are normally being played, which is still much better than having to listen or watch ads. You now get like a minute, or so, of serenity periodically.

11/10/22-i just started getting ads for some reason? I guess twitch changed something? 7/4/22-I like the no adds but other then that twitch is better. Everytime i click on a stream i always have to manually change from 1080 to 360 or 480 and it resets when I close the stream. And also you can't go back to the list of whos live without closing the stream you are watching

It's bad. Not close to add polished as Xtra but since that app is dead and has ads this is the only choice. Main bugs are related to the pop out player causing crashes with some retiring full restart. Stream resizing is straight trash in the nicest way possible. Can't view other streams while one is playing. another issue is the phone runs at 100% making my phone get very hot and butlrns through the battery life

I greatly appreciate this app. There are bugs with Picture-in-Picture mode (restoration by touching the floating video doesn't work reliably), but otherwise the application is great. Wish there was better support for 2FA though (I use 2FA TOTP but not through Google), to avoid the whole "Remember this computer for 30 days" nonsense. Maybe a Twitch limitation though. Anyway, as I said, enjoying this instead of the bloated ad-laden Twitch client.

Four stars... Great app, no more ear blasting ads while I'm watching a stream on my device, but there's one issue that the twitch app does better. Your picture in picture works if I go back to the phones "desktop" or even use another app at the same time, but in your app itself if I'm watching the stream, I can't go back and browse other streams and still have the picture in picture like I can on the twitch app...

Great app, easy and Ad free. A couple quirks that don't affect my rating since the dev team seems active on pushing updates: After the new Android update, Picture-in-picture mode doesn't have a pause button. I feel like this isn't the devs fault but other video apps have it still and would love to see it come back. Also would love to see twitch chat replay on VODs.

Doesn't work in background audio only mode. First it starts stuttering then a minute later the stream stops. If you wake up the phone it will show "connecting". That's it. Please fix. In video (normal) foreground mode it works perfectly. Again, and I've been asking for that a lot: please add an option to disable the chat completely. I don't use it, I don't want to see messages from silly kids.
