2023-02-24 | Mike Bundock | I have had this watch for about 2 years, intially my wife used but gave up so I started to play with. I really didn't like it because it never worked properly, but after reading the manual and searching on line, I discovered my phone settings was the cause. I have used it successfully for 19 months and it is fantastic. I use the sleep pattern and the heart rate graphs, and discovered from the heart graph that I have Tachycardia and this is now being investigated. Fantastic value for money.
2022-12-27 | Vicky Opong | Horrible the app kept on never connecting and going to the homescreen was impossible don't waste on this app I will never invest my time in a silver crest thing again it is a big nice looking piece of junk and is not able to connect to the watch I wish I never spent my money on this worst investment of my life
2022-06-09 | Raven Hall | I bought this watch a week ago and it turns on and everything i just can't connect it to my phone and I have one of the newest androids qnd the app is updates i have looked at and tried everything i can't even get it too the right time because i can't connect it. I would rate this a 0 if I could. Unbelievable
2022-06-03 | Mickey Mousec | Wouldn't connect to watch, couldn't even detect it. I wound up using the other silvercrest smartwatch app on the play store that worked perfectly. Not sure what's gone wrong with this one and why they have two apps with the same functionality but this one's a dud.
2021-09-02 | fumi doyin | Lost Bluetooth connection can see zip car Bluetooth connection plus 7 other devices outside but cannot pair with my own phone next to it!! Have tried reinstalling, switching Bluetooth on and off and the rest but no success. Want to return but can't find receipt. Very very disappointed and frankly peed off. Would give 0 points but not available
2021-07-28 | Pat Thornton | Worked fine (mostly) until I changed my phone and reinstalled the app. Now it won't connect so it's pretty much only useful as a pedometer, as I can't access any other features, change the time (which is incorrect as it appears to be gaining) or keep track of any activities. Apparently the updated version of the app has rendered it useless. Thanks silvercrest, can I have a refund now you've ruined it?
2021-03-11 | H G | Upgrading software didn't work: app cuts bluetooth connection as soon as the process starts. Can't even use the watch as a standalone: you can't set time manually. Very disappointed, never again.
2021-02-14 | Paul Cristian | SSG 500 - Just awful! It won't stay connected to the phone. The GPS feature is only on the box, you won't find it in the watch. It doesn't count the steps correctly. Because it doesn't stay connected to the phone it won't show you the weather or the notifications. Thank you Silvercrest for this "fine" product, my confidence in your brand is so low right now, it could find oil.
2021-02-10 | Vasii Octavian | The main problem is that the watch doesn't reconnect with the app when out of range except if I do it manually. Another option to update in the future is to let the user select his own apps under the "other apps" tab, I don't want to receive notifications about my gallery being used and installing an app in playstore. Adding new watchfaces would be a nice addition, and also add a gym mode exercise, I can't do running mode if I'm lifting weights. The app needs a lot of improvement
2021-02-09 | Andrew Giles | I've been using the SFW220 watch for nearly 6 weeks now, and I'm surprisingly impressed, the sleep monitoring seems to work well, the step count is quite accurate, once you get used to where everything is, and where to swipe to get to what you want, it's quite easy to use. Now the cons, whilst the step count appears accurate, it's conversion to actual km is off, presumably as it calculates distance from your step count, using a generic stride length, doesn't link well with Google Fit. |
