Once this is fixed this is again a five-star browser, until it's fixed though, it's almost unusable. No one likes to open a shortcut or a search and it doesn't load.: updated, they put more ads on your bookmark screen, slower |

If you interact with the app in the wrong way, not sure how, but it reduces the app display to 1/4 of the screen. You can't return it to the normal size until you force close the app, and until you do it follows you everywhere making it impossible to interact with it or other apps it's transposed over. TERRABLE feature! - 3 stars until this gone |
| 2024-08-06 |  | | I have a plain vanilla Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone. This app just plain doesn't work. It is supposed to block interruptions - instead it creates them with countless notifications to articles WHICH ARE NOT THERE. Either the link is broken, or there is one line of some text which is so small [Later: "Error: Undefined domain name."] that it cannot be read - even with a magnifying glass. This used to be a useful tool, which is why I have not s-canned it yet. I have updated multiple times, but no fix! |
| 2024-07-29 |  | | Opera mini is fine. Have been using it for a few years, and besides the desktop mode, most of the updates have been meh (desktop mode was great). This latest update though, now everytime I open the address bar, it shows trending Google searches, which is annoying since there's no option to disable it. It's not a deal breaker as typing anything makes it go away, I just don't see the point of adding it to the browser I can go to the website for that. |

Can't find it. Now, I will keep the app despite not getting sports in my country. But I won't make it my regular go to browser. I'll use the one on my phone too. | 2024-07-05 |  | | I love using opera mini, it's a really nice app, great Job But the ads, pop ups are really annoying, pls do something about the ad blocking, brave browser aggressive ad blocking is really impressive, no pop ups, no annoying ads whatsoever. And the desktop feature doesn't really work well, it's not efficient, some sites crashes or no change at all when it's turned on, pls fix this also. Thank you. |
| 2024-06-05 |  | | Its alright, and has some download features that the main opera GX browser doesn't have that I am a fan of. I was unable to download that version on my older phone and had to settle for this one. It feels like an almost completely different browser. Opera GX has no ads, is a bit easier to navigate with, and is generally a better experience overall. If you have the option, just download the actual GX app. However, if you don't, you can settle for this and still get something better than chrome. |
| 2023-12-09 |  | | Edit: Reduced to 4 stars. They've added an annoying persistent popup that covers the bottom of the interface that says an update is available begs you to restart. And you can't turn the notification off! Updates are notorious for breaking what wasn't broken, and I choose to update only when something is wrong. Rendering the interface partially unusable to impose unnecessary updates is a terrible, terrible idea. |

Bragging that you block ads then forcing ads on me yourself? And it isn't the news sites. This is recent. And happens regardless of what site I go to! Bout to uninstall... and no I won't screenshot it. I told you what it does and when. As for your reply.. there is no such option. I have everything set as I have for years... uninstalling |
| 2020-10-11 |  | | After new update, inbuilt media streamer became WORSE. 1) Earlier if the media is played online in it & the buffered part of video can be watched by seeking the bar back & forth. BUT NOW..if we seek it back then the media loads (buffers) again. Hence wastage of data & time. 2) Earlier there was option button for screen orient NOW THERE IS NOT. It was useful for those who keep their device auto orient.off. But now user must keep it ON. 3) Touch drag Lft or Ryt seeked video NOW IT WONT. FIX IT |
