2024-11-08 | Ibrahim Abusnayma | -Slow comparing to google docs. - "select all" feature is missing. -Designed for Latin languages (left to right documents), non Latin documents are opened with some changes in the documents. -supports Latin fonts only, and you can't choose your private font. -Changes some of your default keyboard layout, so you will lose some of your keyboard features. -Setting document language doesn't have any effect in writing.
2024-11-01 | Shiba Computer | Terrible performance on anything other than the tiniest documents. With a top of the line Pixel, you can frequently experience up to half a second delay between key press and letter appearing on screen. No custom fonts, missing features, significantly clunkier UX compared to Word or Google Docs. just depressing all round.
2024-10-25 | ANANDA NANDAN MANDAL | An excellent app which is so easy to work. It allows us to make any document so nicely. Converting a document into other formats or printing it in any formats is so easy, nice, fast and perfect. ***The only PROBLEM of the app, for which I want to draw the attention of creator or the authority, is that there is no provisions for Customizable margin or border to set for a document page. Had it been in the layout, it could have been so perfect and unparalleled.
2024-10-22 | Rhys Ferris | Man I want to love this, but it's just unusable right now. I love the desktop app, but right now at least typing via Bluetooth is broken (known big, but not fixed for months) and on screen keyboard doesn't support swipe and if you get typing quick, about a third of my letters are missing. I've gone to WPS Office. I'll check back in a few months.
2024-10-22 | Dan H | Best find in years. This is the mobile version of the office suite that finally set me free from Microsoft being the only MS Office replacement I could find on Linux That was worth the time to install. The mobile version lacks some features but is generally similar to other Document viewers and performs well for my purposes. I can't comment on the built-in collaborative features which seem superior, but Alas, I am a one-man show, so I have no need of them at the present time. Well done
2024-09-20 | HK_06 (Mau) | Tried this app for the first time, I feel really comfy using it. I really hope new features get added in future to make this suite more complete. Only thing I don't like atm: Opening a PDF file from the app (On Device Tab > Folder Icon) messes with the document layout But if you open it from Recent Tab, or directly from file explorer displays the layout correctly If this gets fixed, I'll change my rating Thanks in advance
2024-07-19 | J. M. | Let's see, this app can scrape your email messages, it can take your email and phone number, and the data is siphone on an ecrypted connection to its destination. Says who? The developer says so. That is kind of too much to give up for free use of this app. We are all used to usage logs being collected but come on. I suggest that the developer clarifies further how it siphones of this data from our devices and for what purpose. Otherwise, an app with powerful potential is not going to go far.
2024-02-15 | Purejoy Sadguru | Whoa. This is unexpectedly fast with larger documents (at least compared to Collabora / LibreOffice Viewer). A bit heavy on the permissions, but still less invasive than its counterparts from Google and Microsoft. The Mobile View feature is a beautiful touch that saves one lots of repetitive gestures for zooming and scrolling. Ad-free, and doesn't nag you to purchase anything or make an account. Nice work. Keeping this around as my go-to for quick edits of LibreOffice and MSOffice documents.
2023-11-24 | Jonathan Schroeder | Really close, but crippled by serious input bugs. When using Google gboard keyboard on Android, the predictive text doesn't show up. Also the swipe input doesn't work correctly -- there is no automatic space after the word is swiped in. This makes onlyoffice different from all other app on my phone and I can't tolerate having input behave differently from how I expect in 1 app. This bug is mentioned on forum thread titled "The predictive keyboard suggestions do not show when typing". No fix.
2023-07-18 | Agent Tomcat | On desktop, ONLYOFFICE is easily the best MS Office alternative, with incredible compatibility and features, even if it's a bit sluggish opening. On mobile, however, it just lacks everything that makes the desktop version great. It often doesn't open files at all, and almost as often encounters errors opening known good formats and files. I wanted this to be my Office replacement, but for now, it'll only serve that function on my PCs. |
