Game is nice to play. Movement is janky, not smooth. Certain mods don't work completely. The evasion mod specifically. The stun when you get hit, horrible. Too long and it stacks. Edit: all the same. No real differences. Have the second to last skin. don't see much difference. Stun still horrible. Evasion still feels like it doesn't work. Edit 2: I realized when I open the boxes, I still get items I've already maxed out. No good. Waste of resources. No response. 1 star.

Animation and assets are cute and engaging. Progression is hard but fair. You need to build characters that actually counter the kind of enemies you deal with instead of becoming a giant glass cannon. The strategies that work for one level don't work for another; you need to keep reinventing. THAT'S how you make a customizable game. That's how stage-based roguelite gameplay is done. I love this game.

Love this game. But it's practically impossible. I'm stuck on chptr 22 wave 10. Can't upgrade weapons and drones anymore bc I can't pass this stage. Even bought packs with real money, didn't really help at all. Tried all sorts of combinations, doesn't matter. I've been trying for at least a month, month and a half on this stage, to no avail. Otherwise, this would def be a5 star game.

The upgrading system is what really holds this game back, having to rely on two crate types which aren't even guaranteed to give you an adequate amount of chipsets considering how expensive they are, even when watching ads to boost earnings by triple. I've reached a dead end at Chapter 19 just because I can't get specific upgrades. Another issue is the staggering from getting hit, its unbearable considering the amount of projectiles ramps up significantly and gets you killed from one slip up.

Great roguelite, not like all the others in the store. It definitely stands out with its charming pixel graphics & lack of forced ads. Fun to pick your setup for each run & upgrade your "chipset". I'm a roguelite enthusiast & I've tried so many, this is definitely one of the better one. Completely free to play! There's IAPs but not intrusive at all, I appreciate that. Addicting & a great time killer. Rounds are blissfully on the short side, something other roguelites get wrong with 20-30min lvls

I'm writing this review after beating chapter 19. As many other reviews say, the game becomes difficult from one level to the next. However, that doesn't mean it becomes pay to win. The game encourages you to try and discover different strategies as you go on, and at times, it may become grindy, but buying loot boxes won't really take you that far if you don't know what you are doing. So far, I am having a blast with the game. Edit: I just beat Chapter 36, game is still fun

Project Clean Earth is an indie exemplar with beautiful pixel art and well streamlined gameplay. It is a free mobile game, so they are going to nickle-and-dime you to keep the lights running, but the product is solid and worth the uncharacteristically reasonable cost of the games Freemium elements. My one and only wish is that a secondary "Endless Levels" mode was available. "Builds" in this game get out of hand, and the regular levels are too short for experimentation.

Great game to waste time on and I recommend if you're into grinding and having a difficult challenge. It's true that the game suddenly spikes in difficulty as a way to get tye player to spend money but it's possible without doing so. I've reached level 45 without paying a dime and only watching ads to boost my progress.

Great game, latest update won't allow you to approve rewards. Exit button from ads broken. So I'm all about monetization and doing it correctly. DLC, perks and pricing model is completely broken. Needs to be completely retooled. Difficulty setting on the game needs to be retooled. Use Candy crush as your model and if you are doing it you're doing it incorrectly. Fix this and you get a better rating.

This game is pretty fun and easy... at first. Then it's difficulty spikes up chapters 16+ and it seems the only option is to spend real life money just to upgrade your items a bit just to survive for 5 seconds longer, it also has really confusing and unnecessary stuff like ailment resistance and stuff you get from getting rid of chipsets. Not very beginner-friendly. The only thing your robot will destroy is your wallet and patience, it's not one star just because it is kinda fun, just hard.
